Get away from the city and spend some time in the country!

Welcome to our 5 bedroom house. This beautiful, updated farmhouse has all the modern amenities you would want in a country setting. Your family or group can spend quality time together in this spacious, private home located on a quiet, country road in beautiful Oro-Medonte. With a fenced in yard, sunroom and deck, and a magnificent view of the fields growing crops, this is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. And if you want to spend time inside, the house offers a comfortable living room with a large screen TV, a smaller family room with a cozy fireplace or head downstairs to the basement and play a game of air hockey!

Situated minutes from many amenities including Bass Lake Provincial Park, swimming, boating, bike/hike trails, Burl's Creek Concert Venue, ice fishing, and both downhill and cross country skiing (Hardwood Hills, Horseshoe Resort, Mount St. Louis Moonstone). This beautiful farmhouse is at the gateway to cottage country. Horseshoe Valley Farm is a great place to stay to get away from the city to relax and rejuvenate.

In the winter, the farm offers ample room to park equipment (ie. snowmobiles, trailers and ski equipment) and enjoy the many winter opportunities that are available close by.

There are five bedrooms and two complete bathrooms. Guests will have access to free Wi-fi, Netflix, as well as the peaceful enjoyment of strolling around the property.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.
Animals are not allowed on beds or furniture.
Other buildings including the barn and shop are off limits.
Be considerate to your new neighbors! Quiet hours are from 9 pm to 8 am, during which time the noise from the home shall not unreasonably disturb neighbours.
Remove your shoes at the door.
Clean any spills up immediately. Cleaning supplies along with broom, mop and vaccuum cleaner can be found in the broom closet in the kitchen.
We have a septic system so please do not flush sanitary products or diapers down the toilets. Use the garbage cans provided.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
Please leave the Provincial Park Passes (2) on the counter in the kitchen when you check out.
Please, check your car for any items that are supposed to remain at the house.

Great country get away
My group has been to this property every year for the past 6 years and have enjoyed our weekend stay every time. The kitchen is well supplied, there is ample space to spread out within the farmhouse and outside, and the countryside is quiet and very peaceful. We love our stay here every time and look forward to return each year in the fall.

Great family vacation home
We’ve been here twice for Christmas family reunion, and both times had really enjoyable stay. The cottage is well equipped for the large group like ours (8 adults). The host Sheryl is very responsive to all minor requests we had. She decorated the cottage for Christmas, which created really cozy spirit. Will consider coming back again.

What a wonderful place
The house is beautiful. I would rate it as a 5 star place. We had a grate time there. It was also cery close to the all winter activities we participated like dog sleds, ski and tubing

Spa and Golf while at the Farm
It was lovely waking up in the morning to view the farm along with the mist and sunrise. The calls of the cows and sheep was comforting. The Vettä spa is close by as well as a few golf courses to choose from The farm house was perfect for all of us with room to move. The dining table was big enough for us all as well and kitchen had plenty of room for plenty of cooks. Great stay.

A delightful Getaway
This was a great place for our family to meet and have a great spot to relax and also to celebrate in a quiet rural setting. Very spacious. Our grandchildren enjoyed seeing the animals and Sheryl, our host, was very helpful and attentive. We were not disappointed! I would recommend this place to all families that are looking for a quiet and relaxed place to gather.

Had a family wedding at Northbrook Farms. The house was less then 10 minutes from the venue. Beautiful house, a great place to stay if from the city and looking for a place to unwind and recharge your batteries.

Casual country retreat
This is the fourth year my girlfriends and I have ventured to the farmhouse for a fall get away. We love the quiet surroundings and all that the house has to offer. Sheryl, the host is easy to contact and any small issues or glitches we've had during our stay have been quickly resolved by the owner. We are already looking forward to returning next fall.

Farmhouse Christmas
Spacious, clean, well equipped and in a quiet location. Sheryl, was responsive to all our questions. We had a wonderful family Christmas gathering at the farmhouse. We were lucky to have several feet of snow to play in. It was a special time. Thankyou, Sheryl, we really enjoyed our stay.

Ample Space for All
We recently rented this property for a few families and boys for a local hockey tournament. We had 9 people people from 4 families stay at this home. It was incredibly clean and provided ample space for us all to sleep and spread out. The boys enjoyed the air hockey table in the basement, the wifi and the smart tv. As parents we enjoyed the large kitchen, dining room and separate seating in the cozy family room with fireplace. The location, situated between Barrie and Orillia, was perfect for us as it was close to both places. We would recommend this home for any large groups looking for a place that provides ample room for all to enjoy!

Quiet country setting
This is my third time at this property. The location is great, the farmhouse is as listed/as per pictures, with everything my group and I need for a fall weekend getaway to laugh, chat and enjoy each other's company while enjoying the fall colors and the solitude of country living. Early Fall at the Farmhouse
Great place, lots of room to spread out, large kitchen, two living rooms, large dining room. We went with 5 adults and a 6 year girl ,lots of room , you definitely don’t feel crowded. Lots of hiking trails nearby, spent a day at Wasaga Beach….just a short 30 minute drive, very close to Orioles for food and restaurants,definitely recommend.

Great Spot for a Large Group
My daughter was getting married in the area and we needed a place that could fit 12 adults as my daughter wanted all her bridesmaids to stay with us the night before the wedding. The place was very large and very clean. There was some very nice treats from a local bakery on the counter when we arrived. Sheryl was very accommodating. The whole weekend turned out great and having such a great "home base" made everything that much easier.

Family getaway
We had a peaceful and relaxing time here with plenty of space for 2 families. Beds were comfy and linens clean. The kitchen and LR were well equipped and comfortable. Great access to swimming and biking and close to Orillia. Sheryl was always available and easy to talk to as well as helpful with recommendations. The only issue we had was the washer didn't work but Sheryl was responsive. An enjoyable bonus for kids and adults was feeding the baby goats! It was definitely an unexpected highlight of our stay.

This is a farmhouse that has been enhanced and enlarged for entertaining and just enjoying the quiet and calm of the surrounding farmland. Seeing the animals in the morning is lovely. Sheryl is a delight to deal with.

Excellent property to get away from it all. Lots of space inside and out. We were a group of 11 and we all had more than enough space. Host greeted us with a cheesecake in the fridge…nice touch. All appliances worked well linens were plentiful. We highly recommend this property

Overall, excellent experience. Lovely property with lots of amenities close to Horseshoe Valley and other ski resorts. Communication was quick and efficient. We didn't have any problems, but I am certain Sheryl would have addressed them quickly!

Beautiful, peaceful setting with quick and easy access to multiple ski hills.
Our family had a lovely stay at this wonderful farmhouse while on a weekend getaway from the GTA to ski and snowboard at Mount St. Louis. There was plenty of room for us all to enjoy some downtime and beautiful surroundings during our breaks from the slopes. We even got to experience a gorgeous horseshoe valley sunrise. The host was incredibly responsive and even left us a tasty treat to enjoy. Would definitely book again!

Enjoy Horseshoe Valley Fieldview Farm
Family of 4 + 1 guest booked Fieldview Farm to enjoy some alpine skiing at local ski hills and this property is well located for both Horseshoe Valley and Mt. St Louis. Sheryl the host was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive. As others have noted, this property clean/comfortable and is well stocked and well equipped to ensure your stay is relaxing (thanks for the welcome treat Sheryl - most appreciated!). After hitting the slopes relax in front of a gas fireplace or find a quiet spot to sit and read (there's lots of space). The full size air-hockey table was also enjoyed as were the board games. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had all of the comforts of home. It was conveniently located to Orillia. Sheryl was very responsive to any questions I had. She was an absolute delight and dropped in to check to make sure all was ok as well as provide us with pie and ice cream. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it!
