Welcome to Bear Paw Lodge, our cozy A-frame cabin located minutes from Big Bear Lake! Our cabin sits in a quiet neighborhood nestled among the pine trees & is less than 20 mins. to The Village, restaurants, ski resorts, hiking trails, the lake, etc.!

With all the amenities and supplies you need, plus thoughtful decorative touches that immerse you in the mountain atmosphere, your stay is bound to be as memorable as it is rejuvenating.
The cabin features two large bedrooms upstairs, and the bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor. Relax in the cozy living room and enjoy the crackling of a wood-burning fireplace with a good book or play a board game with your loved ones. Stream your favorite shows on the large Roku TV (or take a trip down memory lane and indulge in our DVD collection). The backyard deck offers an intimate gas fire pit surrounded by comfortable Adirondack-style chairs, creating the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy your favorite evening drink. Or loosen up in the hot tub after a long day of outdoor adventures!
The kitchen offers a Keurig or drip coffee machine for your morning brew, as well as a hot water kettle for tea drinkers. There is a gas stove/oven and ample kitchen supplies for making home cooked meals after a big day on the slopes or trails. We also offer specialty appliances like a blender, waffle maker, and toaster oven.
The prime location of the cabin puts you within 20 minutes or less to all of the best things Big Bear has to offer—no matter what season it is! Quickly and easily drive (or take the free Big Bear Trolley) to The Village, hiking and biking trailheads, numerous lake activities on Big Bear Lake, or to the ski slopes at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Walk straight from the front door and stroll around the neighborhood taking in all the unique cabins, grab a bite at the neighborhood bar and grill, or pick up any necessities at Easy’s General Store.

Guest Access:
- The entire cabin and yard is yours to enjoy during your stay!
- Keyless self check-in.
- Use of the outdoor gas fire pit and hot tub are available at any time, but please be aware of the strict neighborhood quiet hours starting at 10pm through 7am.
- Free off-street parking in the driveway on the right-hand side of the house as well as in front. NOTE: parking is NOT allowed on the street per the city for snow plows. You may get ticketed and/or towed!
- Any locked sheds or storage closets are off-limits.
Other Details to note:
- Parking is not allowed on the street per the city for snowplows in winter. Please park a maximum of 2 vehicles in the off-street spaces provided in the driveway on the right-hand side of the house as well as in front of the fence. We are not responsible for any damage to cars from snow plows.
- Please always remember to NOT leave food inside your vehicles and lock all of the doors in case of bears.
- Please use caution when using the hot tub as surfaces can get slippery.
- Please remember you are staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect and remove outdoor shoes at entryways.
- We do get quite a bit of wildlife since this is a forested area. Please be mindful of any children and/or open doors and do not leave them unattended.
- There is a Ring doorbell camera on the front porch. This is an exterior camera only and provides extra security.
- For non-emergency issues, we do not send maintenance to the property during your stay, only after you depart.
- There are no refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god or other things that are beyond our control.
- Damage or Theft: Please let us know of any items that are damaged or might be missing. Unreported damages will result in possible fees and a claim filed with Airbnb.
- We are currently unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. Thank you for your understanding.
House Rules:
- No parties or loud gatherings.
- You must be 21 and over to book this property.
- Occupancy is limited to 6 people maximum.
- No pets are allowed in the cabin. The fee for violating this policy is $50.
- No smoking or vaping in the property. The fee for violating this policy is $500. If smoking outdoors, please ensure you are several feet away from any doors or windows and ensure items are fully extinguished when complete, as this is an area very susceptible to wildfires.
- Flame candles are not permitted.
- Use of the outside wood-burning fire pit in the yard is not permitted (this is different from the gas fire pit on the deck).
- We do not provide firewood for the indoor fireplace. If you would like to buy your own, please feel free. Upon check-out, please carefully remove all of the ash from inside the fireplace and transfer it into the metal pail that sits on the hearth. This ensures the fireplace stays clean and operable for the next guest.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm - 7am daily. This is a strict Big Bear area regulation. Any noise complaints received may result in eviction and refunds will not be given.
- Trash: Upon check-out, please remove all trash from the cabin and place it in the bins outside, ensuring the provided strap is pulled tight over the lid so animals can’t get into it. This helps keep any unwanted critters out of the house, since we are in a heavy wildlife area. If the trash bins outside are full, you MUST take your trash with you upon checking out. The fee for any trash left inside the property is $50.
- Dishes: We do not have a dishwasher. Please make sure all dishes are clean upon check-out. The fee for any dirty dishes left behind in the sink or elsewhere is $30.
- Any locked doors or supplies storage cupboards are off-limits.

We are Brian and Kristin! We met years ago in Arizona but moved back to California which we now call home. We used to vacation in Big Bear and decided to buy a cabin for weekend getaways.
We love the charm of Big Bear and hope our guests love it as much as we do! Our hope is that our guests will build wonderful memories here like we did, and still do.
