This lovely spacious Mexican Colonial-style Villa has a wonderful atmosphere of both old and new. You are welcomed with a lovely and elegant rod iron gated entrance and a front courtyard with a romantic and soothing water fountain. In the courtyard there is a separate building that houses two large, private bedroom suites with ensuite bathrooms. As you walk into this lovely Villa you have a lovely view of the private back yard pool, deck area and tropical garden heading out to the golf course. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful wooden cabinetry, a work island, a lunch bar with bar stools and all having beautiful granite top countertops. The kitchen is open to the dining room which gives you a panoramic view of your own private back yard paradise.The gorgeous wooden dining room table is ready for you and your traveling guests to sit around. The living room adjacent to the dining room, has lots of built-in seating couches around the room for everyone. This is terrific area for visiting and planning your next attraction or relaxing and watching some TV. The main floor has one bedroom with a King size bed. It has a small balcony facing the courtyard. There is a full bathroom on the main floor with a shower. On the second floor there are three large bedrooms with attached ensuite marble bathrooms. One bathroom has a jetted tub while another one has a shower with 2 rainforest shower heads. All Bedrooms are beautiful, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, private balconies, air conditioning, TVs and large closet space.

The outside of this property is very well maintained with beautiful green vegetation, all around you and many flowering plants. The front yard has an enclosed courtyard where there is a lovely water fountain. There is a lovely pathway along side of the villa so you can easily get from the front courtyard to the backyard without going through the Villa. The backyard is well equipped with a wet bar, an outdoor shower, 2-level swimming pool, lots of comfortable lounge chairs and a lovely covered area for outdoor dining and lounging. There is a lovely view of the golf course from the backyard. This is a wonderful area for kids and adults alike to enjoy the amazing good weather of the Mexican Caribbean area and enjoy swimming in the pool.
You don't even have to leave this property to have a wonderful time.

This property comes with a maid and a pool man/gardener to help make your stay as stress-free and relaxing as possible. The Villa Manager/owner lives right next door so if there are any problems, he is very easy to get ahold of.

You can order someone to come in and give massages, pedicures and manicures right in your villa or around the pool.

The Villa has a terrific location in the gated community of Puerto Aventuras. Everything is in walking distance from the Villa. The beautiful beaches, the busy and very popular Puerto Aventuras Marina where there is every kind of boat, yacht or catamaran which can take you fishing, snorkeling, diving or just crusing, the center of town where all the shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, delis and speciality shops are and the Dolphin Discovery Center where you can swim and/or interact with the dolphins, sea lions and manatees.

Puerto Aventuras is a very safe, 24 hour gated marina community. It is a beautiful area and the perfect spot for exploring the Maya Riviera as it is located basically in the middle of everything you will want to see and experience. The Villa is close to a wide variety of cenotes, theme parks, eco parks, horse back riding, ATV rides, jungle tours, ruins, beach clubs and much more. In Puerto Aventuras the Villa is located right beside the Hole One Green of the 9 hole golf course, you are less than a 5 minute walk to the tennis courts and racket ball courts, a short 8 minute walk to a skate board park. The marina is only a 5 minute walk away and the gorgeous swimming beaches are also a short 8 - 10 minute walk away from the Villa's front door. You can rent golf carts, scooters, and bikes in the center of the village and at the beach you can rent wave runners, kayaks and paddle boards to enjoy fun in the ocean.

Luxury villa

The house is beautiful, the pool and outside area was amazing. Perfect location close to everything you need. The owner and all the staff can't do enough for you, they are so attentive to detail. I give it 11 out 10

Perfect!!!

This villa is absolutely beautiful in ALL ways. The actual villa has everything you need, especially for a large group of people. The location is spot on with the beach, restaurants, bars and stores in close walking distance. The hosts are amazing, very receptive to all questions, responsive to requests and offers so much to help with planning. The villa mgr, even though dealing with own personal emergencies was readily available for any and all questions and was very responsive. The staff that came in to clean and do maintenance was very professional and friendly. Overall the villa is amazing I will definately be coming back with my family for a family vacation and so should you!!

Spectacular stay!!!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this beautiful villa and already wanting to return. The pics don't do this place justice. It is exquisite!! Beautiful property in a gated community within walking distance to shopping, tennis, golf, restaurants, etc. The cleaning staff went over and beyond with decorative tissue and towels. Carlos was awesome. We loved everything about our stay!

Great Experience

We had 14 family members at this location and everything was as advertised. We had 3 teenagers get the first stage of their scuba certification. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool. A large supermarket was close by and multiple good restaurants were in the gated community, all in walking distance. The backyard/pool area was very private and quiet. My husband played golf at the PGA course in Tulum and the course in the gated community and enjoyed both courses. Just down the street was a hotel that was a short walk where you could pay $35 from 11am-6pm and have access to pools, the beach. Paddle boating and other water sports, volleyball. A large buffet, and ice cream shop, hotdog stand and more all included in the $35 each price. It was a fun for all of my family!

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay! We were a group of four families, with four 18 year olds. This home is absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for everyone, whether it was hanging out by the pool or sharing a meal around the huge dining table! The home is equipped with everything you need for a successful vacation. Everything was perfect!!! I can't say enough good things about Carlos... He was absolutely wonderful! He was always there with a smile and a quick answer when we had a question. He checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and that our vacation was going smoothly. The daily maid and pool/garden service was an added bonus as well that we all really appreciated. Thank you for sharing your home with us... We will definitely be back!

Complete Rest and Relaxation

Our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable! Prior to our stay, Lorraine helped us by answering questions and putting us in contact with a local tour company and chef. She was very helpful and patient as we prepared for our trip. The house exceeded our expectations! It is gorgeous and well appointed. We had so much room to spread out and enjoy the space. The pool area was fantastic well taken care of. The maid service and pool cleaning service were exceptional. Carlos, the property manager, was very responsive to our needs during our stay. The neighborhood is nice with pretty much everything you need within walking distance. There is a large grocery store just a 5 minute car ride away. All in all it was the rest and relaxation we all needed. If we choose to stay in Puerto Aventuras again, this will be the place for us!

LOVELY!

We all have nothing but good thing to say about the property and management. Carlos was alway available to answer any and all questions. The Villa is spacious and the floor plan was perfect for a large group. It just a short walk the shops, restaurants and beach. the village is built around the marina and the Dolphin Discovery park. DO NOT book anything through AAA Charters & Adventures they are not honorable.

Beautiful rental

We had such an amazing stay! We fell in love with the puerto aventuras area years ago and were excited to stay here again. Perfect area for families to walk around with lots of activities and feels safe and fun. The house is more nice and more elegant then the vrbo description. So big it feels like your in a castle. The cleaning staff keeps it in tip top shape and the pool was just perfect for kids and adults. I highly recommend staying here and property manager, Carlos, is right next door to help with anything you could need (from locking yourself out to setting up a covid test). It was TRUELY a vacation for us.

Girlfriend's Trip

I spent 6 days with 6 of my closest girlfriends for a girls trip and to celebrate my turning 50! We had an AWESOME time, The property is AMAZING,,, the pictures do NOT do the property justice. The house is VERY spacious and we NEVER felt like we were in each other's way. Carlos, the property manager, met us at the house to walk us through how everything works and to welcome us and give us instructions on how to communicate with him for ANYTHING... and I do mean ANYTHING! He was sooooo ACCOMMODATING. I highly recommend this property for large groups due to plenty of room, it's own pool and a great modern kitchen,,,, We will definitely book this property again... we had the best vacation EVER! EVERYTHING exceeded our expectations. Thank you Lorraine for all your suggestions ,,,they were all GREAT!

A palace in paradise

We rented this home for our extended family of six adults and seven kids ages 7-12. It was hard to find a six bedroom home anywhere along the Riviera Maya that had the facilities we were looking for -- a well-equipped kitchen as we planned to self-cater, a pool for the kids, six bedrooms and bathrooms, comparable suites for the 3 adult couples, all in a secure area close to the beach. Casa Orquidea fit the bill. More importantly, the owners and manager were congenial, accommodating, and made sure that everything was in working order. We were met by Carlos, who lives in the house next door. He explained everything about the house and how to get in touch if problems arose. The owners, Lars and Lorraine, also dropped in to make sure we were situated. Lars emailed information about the area and helped us to plan excursions to a local cenote and to the Coba archaeological site. We were celebrating our golden anniversary and Carlos came by with a present unannounced. Daily maid and pool service kept the house and backyard spotless. The maids did some of our laundry mid-week for a modest tip. The kids spent most days in the pool, which had a shallow end for the youngest and deep end for the older kids. Restaurants, shops, groceries, Dolphin Discovery, and transportation were all within a 5-10 minute walk from the house. We walked to the public beach a couple of days and also walked to shoreline fishing spots (we brought our own gear). The house is just far enough away from the action, though, to be quiet at night. We would recommend Casa Orquidea to anyone looking for a place to kick back with a large group of family and friends. It's a palace in paradise.

Outstanding!!

The property was perfect! This is the 4th time we have rented a property for our warm winter vacation and the first time we would go back to the same place! We wouldn't change a thing! We travel as a group - two families with young children and two sets of grandparents - 13 of us in total ages ranging from 2 to 67 years old. So we need a large space. Carlos, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming - bringing us homemade tomales and providing us with a pinata and help to string it up for two of our children's birthdays, which we celebrated on our vacation. He and his rental managers, Lorraine and Lars, really made a great property rental exceptional! They were all so friendly and quick to answer questions or help us arrange anything from a chef to birthday cakes to where to find the best beaches. The children loved the heated pool - they spent hours everyday playing in the pool while the parents and grandparents had slushy drinks, and relaxed in the sun or shade - which there was plenty of both and lots of patio chairs for everyone. We also had an ample amount of pool/beach towels which were washed whenever we asked. We actually spent more time at this house than previous places we have rented because it was so well set up. We had everything we needed to prepare and cook our meals daily - we usually make about 90% of our own meals when we travel. We had plenty of filtered water which was replaced as we needed. The dining table was large enough to accommodate all 13 of us. The living room area was also perfect for our large group. Friendly house and maintenance staff were there daily keeping the house and property spotless, washing dishes and even doing our laundry when required. Overall, this property, the owner, rental managers, and staff made our vacation the best we've ever had. It was hard to leave and I'm sure we'll be back again! I can't recommend this property enough.

Great house and location!

We stayed at Casa Orquidea for one week over Christmas. The owner, Carlos, was there to greet us on arrival. He showed us around the house and even gave us a short tour of town and helped us order some food for dinner. He was very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. The house had plenty of space for our group of 11 people, ages 3 to 70. The kids loved the heated pool, which Carlos was generous enough to turn up the heat on as the weather was a bit cooler than usual. We loved being able to take the short 5-10 minute walk into town to check out the activities and different restaurants. We appreciated the Manager Lorraine stocking the kitchen with groceries for us before we arrived. We cooked in the kitchen a few times and found the kitchen sufficiently stocked for our needs. There is also a charcoal BBQ that we used once as well. We would definitely stay at this house again and we found Puerto Aventuras to be a safe, clean and fun town to stay in.

Beautiful House. Great for Large Group!

This house was absolutely beautiful and had plenty of space for our group of 12. We loved the pool area and that the pool was heated. The dining room table was giant, and allowed our entire group to dine together. We were slightly concerned about the owner living next door, and that we would be too loud, but he was awesome! He checked in to make sure all was going well, but never over stayed his welcome. He encouraged fun and noise and was always available if we had questions. We felt safe inside Puerto Adventuras and enjoyed the easy access to restaurants, bars, and the beach. Our favorite was Latitude 20, it was delicious and had the best margaritas of the trip. We booked a private boat trip through Paradise Catamarans and it was a highlight of thevacation and the pick up point was just a short walk from the house. The beach was a 10 minute walk, and was nice, but we spent most of our beach days in Tulum and Akumal (a 30 minute drive from the house). The house staff was great- they kept the place looking beautiful all week. Our only hang up with the house was the stove was difficult to use and had to be lit by hand and the burners were really slow (like 45 minutes to boil water). The kitchen has plenty of dishes, but could have been stocked a little better with cookware and cooking utensils. This wasn't a big deal as we went out to eat most nights. We also appreciated that they supplied filtered water for the house. We would go back in a heartbeat!
