Summary:
St. Moritz is a great destination within Mammoth Lakes.

The Space:
This condominium complex is located just north of town off of Old Mammoth Road. This location puts vacationers in a prime spot for accessing shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. Year round fun is close by from hiking and biking trails, golfing, to the free shuttle service that travels to the mountain. The free shuttle goes to and from the Eagle Lodge and the Village.

The inside of this Mammoth Lakes rental features hardwood floors and cultured stone accents throughout. The living room has a large sectional couch placed in front of a mounted 55" flat screen TV. The TV is equipped with a BluRay DVD player and surround sound. WIFI is provided. A fireplace invites you to warm up and create a cozy atmosphere after a day in the snow.

The kitchen has a slow cooker, drip coffee maker, toaster oven, blender and more. When your home cooked meal is ready to be served, call everyone over to the dining table with seating for 6. Dine, drink, and unwind while you spend quality time with your loved ones.

The master bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed, 42" HDTV, and a shared bathroom. Upstairs is the guest bedroom similarly furnished with a King-size bed, 42" flat screen TV with DVD player, and mirrored wardrobe doors. A bonus lofted area has two Queen-size beds and a 27" TV with DVD player. This is perfect for giving the kids their own space. A shared guest bathroom can be found downstairs and has a washer and dryer.

There are 2 outdoor parking spots. The communal game room has pool tables, high-speed internet, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, jukebox, arcade games, etc. The shared swimming pool, hot tub, and BBQ stations are only available during the summer.

Due to COVID 19, the pool area and recreation room are open but the hot tub is closed. Social distancing and masks are required.

Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.

Ski trip w friends & family

This property is great!! So clean & just as represented in pictures. Beds are comfortable as it couch & sitting area for TV. Pellet heater is easy to use and heats place great. Kitchen is perfecting stocked although do bring all condiments and spices for cooking bc that is limited. Only issue is property management is unresponsive which isn’t a reflection on the home.

nicely furnished. plenty of room. convenient to main streets. heating unit is a bit funky (must put in wood pellets) but it worked and was cozy. Location was not where I thought based on VRBO map, but worked just fine and was still close to main street.

Gorgeous place!

We loved the house and had an amazing time. The house is clean and gorgeous and perfect for a family. The location is great which is right in the middle of the town and the slopes. I would suggest the property manager be more specific as to the location of the townhome. It is very hard to find at night. I would recommend adding the building number to the address. It took me way too long to find the unit number because there are many many buildings and units. Also, I would recommend that more than one trash bag be left so the renter doesn’t have to go out and buy new kitchen trash bags. One kitchen trash bag for a family of 6 for 4 nights doesn’t cut it. Other than those small suggestions, we loved our stay and would love to come back.

Nice location and updates

Great location for catching shuttle to Eagle Lodge. Nice upgrades to the property, which gave it a nice, clean feel. Only struggle was a squeaky furnace/pellet stove that was quite noisy. A little distracting for the loft sleepers and for trying to watch a movie downstairs. Would recommend this condo.

Great condo but awful management company

Our condo was really nice but, unfortunately, the local rental management company “Grand Welcome” was anything but “welcome.” They didn’t provide any written instructions within the unit of where to find the recreation room or hot tub. They didn’t provide a hot tub gate key either. We had to call on the 2nd day to get it. They also didn’t provide the parking passes which were supposed the be located in the condo. The biggest complaint was that they flat out refused to give us an extra hour to check out even though their next guests wouldn’t be arriving until 7 hours later. Not sure for the life of me why they need 7 hours to clean a 2 bedroom condo. Check-in is 5:00 pm and checkout is strictly at 10:00 am. We have never stayed in any travel accommodations wherein they wouldn’t allow an extra hour for check-out. This is a pretty standard, reasonable request. Not only did they tell us NO but they were pretty rude. Also, we abided by all of the check-out instructions per their email, including emptying all trash cans... however there were no instructions as to where to find the trash dumpsters. They were not located anywhere near the outside of the unit. We did put all the trash in a a bag near the front door. We thought it was pretty bizarre that we would have to empty the trash cans anyway. Considering the high fees we paid for cleaning/rental management fees, you would think their cleaning people would empty the trash cans. We had a great trip and the condo was very nice, however the managemt company was rude and unprofessional. We will never stay at a condo managed by “Grand Welcome” in Mammoth again.

Your advertised price was $249 per night, after all your fees it almost doubled the cost per night. $470. False advertising. You should be more transparent.

Nice cabin but many logistical issues

This is more a review for the management company than it is the owner. We liked the layout of the cabin and the proximity to the free shuttle, but we had quite a few logistical issues when we stayed here. - The central heating wall units in each of the bedrooms had notes stuck to them that they were not to be used. Instead, it stated we were to use the space heaters provided. The space heaters were old and inefficient. Further, if left on accidentally, space heaters are extremely hazardous. What cabin on the mountain does not provide central heat? Insane. - There weren't enough towels for the amount of guests booked. They list 8 as capacity and we had 6 total. We ran out of towels and were doing laundry consistently. There was a note to come to the Main Office to pick up more towels, but who wants to do that in the middle of winter? It would make more sense to keep extra sets of towels within the unit. - Two people could not shower at the same time. Further, the downstairs water pressure in the bathroom was horrible, even if only one person was showering. - The internet passwords listed in the welcome email were not the same as the internet passwords listed on the fridge in the unit. - We blew a fuse downstairs when one of the girls used a blow dryer. We were able to reset it without calling anyone. - There were no maps in the house binder or anywhere else. What that meant was we were wandering around aimlessly looking for the hot tub, as well as the trash bins on check out day. We had to call to ask where the trash bins were and the response was "they are around". - For people with sensitive skin and/or allergies, I would not recommend staying here. I had horrible allergies the moment I checked in, but I'm not sure if it was the down comforter, or whatever the pellets in the pellet stove were made of. I still have a rash in various parts on my body and I've no idea what it's from. - The $60 late check out fee was a bummer but worth it.

Cute and comfortable condo!

It was perfect for our needs with 3 adults and 4 children. The pellet stove acted up but we called Grand Welcome and they sent someone over right away. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Clean and spacious place

The pictures on Homeaway don’t do it justice! We enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious unit. It is close to Vons, Eagle lodge, the Village, and restaurants. The shuttle stop is steps away from the front door. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. Everyone in our group enjoyed the public jacuzzi. Sadly, the arrival email from Grand Mammoth Resorts did not match what we encountered, though. More towels and linens are not provided by the management company. Extra towels and a booklet of instructions would have made our stay a perfect 5 star stay. We hope we can stay here again in the near future. :)

Perfect condo for 6 Adults! Very Clean with a great layout that was perfect for our ski trip

This was the perfect location and accommodations! Everyone loved the condo. We arrived and needed help with the heating stove, and very pleased when the management showed up within the hour. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for our meals. We even used the BBQ (in a snow storm!) and the hot tub. Would recommend this condo and will use this in the future!
