Elegant one bedroom suite in historic Georgian home. Two minute walk to pubs, restaurants, shops. A few minutes drive to your choice of 12 incredible beaches. Your self contained private suite is located on the ground floor overlooking the beautiful green square. Free street parking & literally everything you need is at your doorstep. Private bathroom, king size bed (5 foot), tea and coffee station. Bar fridge. Peaceful quiet street in the heart of town. “There’s always something on in Clon”
Spacious room with 12 foot high ceilings. Your suite is approximately 300 square feet and is located on the ground floor at the front of the house.
There are no stairs involved.
Featuring two 8 foot tall windows overlooking the park across the road, with heavy curtains for a peaceful darkened room when sleeping.
The suite contains a King size bed (5 ft), two wing chairs to relax in, a table and two chairs to enjoy your morning tea or coffee, a kitchen island with microwave, toaster, kettle, bodum, mini fridge, glasses, dishes, cutlery.
Please note there is no TV
Coffee, tea, milk & sugar and some food suitable for breakfast are provided.
A selection of books to relax and enjoy.
A large ensuite bathroom with electric shower.
Wardrobe for hanging your clothes and storing extra blankets.

About the host

In 2022 my husband Norm and I retired to Clonakilty after 25 years in Canada. We’re loving our new ‘old’ home here and will likely spend the rest of our days renovating it. When not renovating, we like to take time off for bad behaviour (like exploring sea side pubs of West Cork). Norm is also an artist and musician (uilleann pipes ) so you may see his artwork around the place or hear a tune or two.
