Fish cleaning station on the pier. Home is minutes by boat from Calcasieu Lake and 16 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Great Place to Stay and Fish

We really enjoyed this camp. It was spacious and had a nice outdoor kitchen downstairs. We also caught a lot of Redfish and Drum right off the dock.

Fishing Retreat Dream

This was an amazing retreat location for the mens group at my church. Great access to the lake! Great fishing off the bank. The accommodations were first rate, especially for cooking

Best place in hackberry

This place is awesome! Downstairs is completely screened in and made for a good time. The owner has EVERYTHING you could need including games, TV, kitchen, bathroom all downstairs. Upstairs is very comfy with plenty of beds! It’s right on the water so if you book a fishing guide they can literally pick you up at the house. We brought a group of clients for the weekend and couldn’t have landed at a better spot! Would highly recommend 10/10

Last minute Reservation

Sam the owner was super friendly and accommodating! We appreciate the special arrangements made for us in their tome of rebuild. The property is beautiful, the locals are amazing! We enjoyed eating wonderful food at the Rec Center and I fed 5 people for $32 bucks! Glen was super awesome as well and the hospitality was far above fabulous. I recommend anyone stay here for any reason and I hope to be back in the future!

Great stay!

Our extended family had a great stay! The cabin had plenty of room for the 10 of us. It was stocked with everything we needed. We caught crabs off the pier. We highly recommend this place!!!

Weekday Getaway

We enjoyed our mini vacation near the water! Was able to fish and crab off the private dock. Real close drive to Wildlife Management Areas for more crabbing. LOVED the screened in patio for cooking, ESPN watching, and visiting! Looking forward to renting again!

Great camp, greater camp owner!

Don't hesitate to book this camp for a fishing trip in Hackberry. It's a perfect example of a true South Louisiana camp life out in the marsh. Lodging accommodations upstairs are comfortable and roomy, but you won't be up there much. The downstairs screen porch is giant, complete with tv, bar, bathroom, and kitchen. You can put your boat down right there at the camp. 3 covered boat slips, and with the dock lights you can do some real productive fishing right there without even leaving. The camp is right on a bayou that drains the marsh, so you're sitting on the X even if you don't have a boat. Sam was a gracious host as well.

Had so much fun!!!😄😄

We really enjoy the stay the crabbing was lots of fun. We also caught catfish and redfish off the dock behind the house. Enjoyed watching the shrimp boats and the huge ships pass thru the channel. The house was very nice loved the out door kitchen the house was very nice had everything we need. The beds was very comfortable. We will come back for another fishing/crabbing tripping.
