Lovely house, backyard and host. (with some small issues)
The house was lovely - clean and comfortable. The backyard is top notch - private/quiet and we enjoyed all the nature/bird songs. The host was very responsive, from pre-booking right thru checkout. We enjoyed the house so much that we would definitely stay again. There were some minor issues. kitchen missing items (host did have a kettle delivered to the house once we insisted it was MIA). The hot tub was not working, which we knew about in advance, but what we hadn’t considered was that the overflow from hot tub is what might warm the pool. Unfortunately, we found the pool too cold to use more than just quick dips. we really would’ve like to spend time lounging in the pool so that was disappointing for us. Check-in process was a bit odd with me hearing nothing from host about check-in on the day of - wasn’t until I reached out that we were told we wouldn’t get check-in details until right at check-in time, which made me nervous about the booking as I’ve never had to wait for such last minute details before. This could be an issue for those travelling internationally without internet access away from wifi - as you wouldn’t have access to such last minute check-in information. Hot/cold taps are reversed in master bath which there were no notes about. When i booked, check out time was listed as 11am, but when we were there were notified it was 10am. Just small things to be aware of. But overall very happy with the stay and with communication from host
