Great Urban Loft

Very fun and NY like style loft; plenty of room for 1 or 2 people - Lots of space for clothes and great rooftop deck for sun bathing and reading. Host and Hostess couldn't have been nicer and more were very accommodating!

4-Stars

I rented this lovely studio apartment for several months for one of our employees. The location was perfect for our operations in downtown LA. The owners were simply fabulous to work with!! They were honest, responsive and understanding. They made everything easy. It was truly a great experience and I highly recommend this property!!

Super loft mitten in downtown

Amazing Stay!

The loft was just what I needed for a long stay in downtown LA. 24 hour monitoring with kind personable staff that made me feel like I was a local. Efficient but spacious loft with amazing picture windows that provide the perfect amount of natural light with views of beautiful green tree tops backdropped by ornate architecture from the neighboring buildings. Easy access to Staples Center and restaurants including LA Cafe who is open 24 hours and delivers! This place will definitely be my "go to" for future visits to DTLA!

Wonderful Loft!

Couldn't have been happier with my time in DTLA. The loft's amenities are fantastic and I never had a problem with any malfunctions or issues requiring maintenance. The street facing windows are a nice addition that allow for air flow throughout the space and can be easily closed and shut. Location is prime and is within walking distance of nearly any type of food as well as several coffee shops. Colette was responsive to all of my questions and I had virtually no complaints during my time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic

I so much wanted to experience downtown LA and it was awesome. I absolutely loved the loft, it felt like "home" the second I walked in. The rooftop is fantastic and the concierges at the lobby desk very helpful, friendly and kind, with a special mention of Byron! Despite some initial issues with the website's payments I have such great memories and actually miss it! Downtown is noisy but vibrant and alive at all hours of the day and night. A wonderful experience I wouldn't have wanted to miss! Thanks to Colette and Ron!

Great Apartment in a Great Location

I stayed for a month and a half and it was absolutely perfect. Great homey touches that made me feel at home. The noise on the street is sometimes a little loud but its rare and short-lived. L.A. Cafe around the corner is fantastic and serves food 24/7. Would highly recommend and I hope to return!

Great stay and Great location

First Colette is great!!!! Great communication and such a pleasure to work with. It's hard to find trusting and reliable people to do business with especially from afar but with Colette, that's what you will get. Such a pleasure. The location is perfect close to everything and accessing public transportation was a breeze. I can't even name all of the great stores that are all within walking distance: Whole foods, LA Live, Dunkin Donuts, and the list goes on and on. The apartment was clean and the building staff was very friendly. If you need to escape the street noise, just take the short elevator ride up to the 14th-floor roof access, the view up there is amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet loft in great building

I loved this place. I looked at about a dozen options and this one was by far the best for me. You feel right at home the moment you enter the building. The location is right in the middle of everything. This is the big city folks so if you are looking for sandy beaches and quiet street's, look elsewhere. If you want to try on for size dtLA, this is your loft.

First Experience was the Best Experience!!!!!

COLETTE IS AMAZING!!!!! And the apartment was perfect!!!! I could not have asked for a better experience. Colette was very accommodating. I was needing a place to stay while I underwent medical treatment. I was not able to book an exact date until 2 weeks prior to the procedure. Colette was very sympathetic to my needs and made due with what little information I was able to give her at the time. Once we arrived, Colette and her husband helped us move in. And during our stay checked on us from time to time. She responded very quickly to our emails and text messages as well. Just awesome!!! The apartment was super cute! It was exactly what I thought it would be and more. It's hard to really tell the size of it in photos, but it's very spacious for a studio apartment. The big windows were perfect. I love natural light. It just makes you feel good. And it was also fun to sit and people watch. The set up and feel of the apartment is very homey and cozy. The building and staff were great as well. After a few days the staff knew us and we knew them, and it really felt like home. The surrounding area is...downtown LA!!!!! So.... its the downtown life. Noisy during the day...and part of the night, but not too bad. I would 100% stay here again. And absolutely recommend this place.

Easy, Easy, Easy

As a busy working mother, I value easy and simple. The loft was exactly as advertised. The owners are very kind and easy to work with. The fact that the loft is fully furnished and includes all of the necessities one would need made my stay there (I arrived with only one suitcase of clothes) very simple!

Month's Rent

As a recent college graduate, I stayed in the loft for exactly one month and found it to be absolutely perfect. The managers were easy to get a hold of whenever I had any issues and were quick in solving them. The apartment building is clean and nice with very friendly people, and the apartment itself had everything I needed. It was easy to keep clean and perfect for entertaining. Not to mention, I loved the big windows! Although the noise from the street was a problem at first, I quickly adapted to it and I don't think any apartment downtown wouldn't be loud at times. I highly recommend this place to anyone - I felt safe and had fun exploring downtown!

Nice place

The apartment is clean. The owner is friendly and very responsive. It is in a nice area of downtown where there are a bunch of cool restaurants. Walkable to most of the interesting things in downtown. Reasonable access to the subway and immediate access to busses. Taxis go by on 7th every 5min or so essentially 24hrs. The apartment is on the third floor on 7th street in downtown. It is very noisy there which was not a problem for me, but might be a problem for someone who is sensitive to noise. I kept the curtains closed because otherwise you're kind of sitting right on the street level so privacy is a little limited. With the curtains closed privacy is good, but the lighting inside is a little sparse. Again, not a huge problem and you get used to it fast. Mid-way through my stay the air conditioner went out. The apartment gets up in the mid 80's at night with no AC. The owner was as quick as possible getting it fixed, but I eventually moved out for a week while the service person came and a part was ordered. The AC now works very well. There was no rent abatement offered for the week I moved out (or any segment thereof). Obviously not necessary, but the subject was not broached. I also have noted that the rent has gone down considerably on this apartment compared to what I paid. I'm not sure if this is due to seasonal change or what. Overall, the place is nice, and I would consider staying there again, but I would negotiate terms having to do with the apartment maintenance up front. I want to stress that the owners are very nice, and extremely responsive to any problems. I do not believe any of the problems with the apartment were due to neglect, just bad luck.

Downtown LA

Unit is very nice and owners have equipped it well. We would rent it again. There is some street noise but it quiets down by 10-11pm. Parking is not in the building but in a garage only a block away so it was convenient. It was nice not to have to look for parking every day. Liked having a washer/dryer in the unit and unit is much more spacious than a hotel room and gives you room to spread out.

Convenient and Comfortable

I stayed here for a few weeks while on business in downtown Los Angeles. The loft is in a super convenient location, and is nicely appointed and very convenient. No need for a car (Metro is down the street, bus stops nearby), and lots of fun places to eat close by. Great spot to watch people or film crews from the window overlooking Spring Street. I had a great time, and this place turned a typical business trip into a fun L.A. experience!

Beautiful loft

Two of us stayed in this beautiful loft and were very comfortable with the bed and the pull out couch (the bed was really comfortable! -- the couch less so). The location is great if you want to be downtown--close to lots of cafés and restaurants, as well as public transport (bus and metro). The only downfall is that it is a little noisy, especially in the morning, when the buses get going, but this is to be expected in the downtown. The loft was very well equipped--everything we needed was provided for. Everyone we dealt with was really lovely. The roof patio was a nice place to unwind in the early evening. Wouldn't hesitate to rebook this if we were travelling to LA again.

Great Location

I could not have asked for a better location to have stayed in downtown L.A. Walked each day to my week long conference. Had a place to park my car for the entire week. The loft was my refuge after a 10 hour day. The photos accurately reflected the comfort, charm and ammenities of this great get away. Originally was going to stay at the L.A Athletic Club a couple of blocks from the loft. GLAD I DECIDED,instead, to stay here. If you book the loft, do not give a second thought- DO IT!!! Alot of good eateries in the area. Around the corner get an excellent cup of coffee at "Tierra Mi Cafe," and please eat at "Mas Malo" for truly electic Mexican food.

Downtown Loft

We had the greatest time staying at the loft. I was there with my 2 other business partners. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of everything we needed. I was greeted by Paula who gave of us tour of the property and personally took me to the parking garage to show me where it was. The fridge was stocked with wine, cheese crackers and some other light snacks for our enjoyment. I feel the condo was a little bigger in person than it looked in the photos. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. It really felt like home. There are many attractions nearby and they had a big laminated map of the area. If you need to be in downtown LA for a long period of time you should definitely consider this condo. Also, there was a lot of filming going on in the area so that was pretty cool to watch.

Great week of business and pleasure

We stayed in this loft for a week for a conference and a few extra days of fun and exploring. We’ve used vacation rentals quite multiple times over the last 5 years and have never been let down before, and this place was no exception. The loft was amazing, and we felt right at home. Pretty much everything you could need was provided. The bed and couch were very comfortable, there was adequate storage for us to hang up and put our clothes away, and there was even a small ironing board to touch-up our business garments that always seem to get wrinkled on an airplane. The owners even left a bottle of wine for us in the fridge which was a nice touch. The rooftop view was amazing, with tons of tables and chairs to take it all in! Unfortunately, the weather was uncharacteristically cold while we were there, so we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we had planned. The parking space is in a garage about a half a block down, which was perfectly fine. Considering that the hotels in the area charge $40/night for parking, this makes the cost of this rental a steal if you will have a car while there. (BTW – here’s an interesting fact for anyone who’s into movies: Part of the main chase scene from the movie Gone in 60 Seconds was filmed in the alley where you exit the elevator to the parking garage) The only issue we had during our stay was that there were problems with the hot water being intermittent for a couple days throughout parts of the entire building. The property manager and owners were great about keeping in contact with us during this time, and were able to provide us a temporary solution which became unnecessary as it got fixed. While it was a little bit of an inconvenience, things like this can happen at any hotel, B & B, or rental, and we loved the place so much that it did not hinder our enjoyment, especially since we knew it was not being ignored. There’s a fantastic place called the LA Cafe that’s downstairs in the same building, and around the corner of your entrance. If you stay here and don’t at least get breakfast there once, you’re missing out on some amazing food for a good (L.A.) price. Also, if you enjoy wine and a quiet atmosphere, there’s a place called Mignon that is about 1.5 blocks away that has mostly imported wine, and is a great place for a couple to hide away for a few hours. Thank you to the owners for making this available as a great and well-priced option for us travelers, and to Paula for being there when we arrived!

Thanks so much for making our trip to LA such a memorable one!

From the time that we first contacted Paula with many questions to the time that we finally arrived and were met by you in front of the condo we had a wonderful experience. The loft was a very comfortable place to come back to after a day of work or play. We have had many experiences with VRBO and felt most welcome and at home at your loft. The thoughtful attention that was paid to making us feel at home was very much appreciated. From the personal escort to the parking garage, to the wine, cheese and crackers and chocolates, the experience was perfect. We do not have a single complaint! The bed was very comfortable, and it was great to have the convenience of the washer and dryer. The loft is beautiful, the location perfect for the meetings that I had to attend at the convention center and surrounding properties. We only had to use the car when we wanted to explore outside of the downtown area. The view from the rooftop was amazing. The windows down to the busy streets provided a great vantage point to watch all of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Thanks so much for making our trip to LA such a memorable one!

Downtown Los Angeles Loft

We stayed one week in this beautiful loft on business in Los Angeles. The furnishings and amenities are luxurious in this unit. The bonus is a rooftop deck area that is furnished with comfortable furniture and ample tables and umbrellas. It is a different world up there overlooking Los Angeles! We plan on going back on our next trip to the City.
