When we showed up to check in the lady Honey told us it was unlivable. Had to pay for a hotel last minute!!!

The owner didn’t know the house was rented out so we had no water. The check in process was messy. House is cute but won’t be renting again.

neighborhood rough, very very low end, feared for vehicle outside. Honey did not know we were booked. No entry code sent. Said house was off VRBO and up for sale. tough to reach her. finally got her and a code, no Internet no wifi, tv in living room did no work. No tissue in bathroom.. I want to make a claim and get some part refunded. I think she was just lost.

Okay Property

We stayed here one week and I wasn’t very impressed with the neighborhood. It was sketchy and the neighbor directly next door was smoking weed. One night, it seemed like the entire neighborhood was partying; loud music was going for hours. The property grounds were run down, there was garbage in the yard, and the grass was in need of being cut. The inside of the house had a urine smell. I’m fairly confident that a dog has been on the couch because I could see animal hair and kept getting an awful whiff of wet dog. I couldn’t sit on couch without throwing a sheet across it. The house is old, so I didn’t expect the Ritz, but it needs to be cleaned from top to bottom (dust visible on ceiling fans, dog hair on couch, urine smell) and things like the bathtub faucet, which is hanging off the wall and cupboards/drawers stick terribly, so there are several things that needed to be fixed. There were positives though. The host Honey was very receptive. The indoor decor of the house was cute. They had plenty of towels, blankets, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and everything worked. Overall I give this property a 3/5, but probably wouldnt stay here again.
