Beautiful wintertime stay!!

It was everything that we hoped for! Access to public trails as well as private snowmobile trails. Absolutely wonderful to have a bonfire, while riverside. Can’t wait for another opportunity to stay again.

Short but Sweet

We stayed only two nights but agreed we needed another full day to enjoy the property. We loved hearing the steady stream of water, which looked majestic because of the snow. The place was quiet and clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay!

We loved this cabin!

My wife and I loved our stay at this peaceful, spacious, woodland cabin. The property is nestled on the edge of Hartwick Pines, and we really took advantage of the walking trails around the area and took in the pretty Fall foliage. The east brach of the Au Sable River flowed through the backyard, which added a calming ambience. The inside of the cabin was very cozy and beamed with rustic flair. We will absolutely be back!

We live about an hour away in Lake City, Michigan. We love everything Northern Michigan and when looking for a little getaway, we wanted something on a river, secluded and near the trails. We also desired a place that could bring people together for fun, for celebrations.
We wanted a place where family and friends can gather to encourage one another, build relationships and to make memories. We are excited for you to visit and enjoy your stay at our cabin. We want you to make yourselves at home and to ENJOY every aspect of all this beautiful place has to offer. We delight in making a warm, special and beautiful place for YOU to feel at home!

Why they chose this property

We chose this area because we fell in love with the sound of the river. We love the seclusion that this place offers. We love the space that this home and outdoor space allows for larger gatherings but yet can be quaint and secluded for a little getaway as well. We love the little town of Grayling and their love for the Au Sable and Manistee Rivers. The restaurants are fabulous and we love how friendly the town-folk are!

What makes this property unique

This property is unique in that it sits right on the East Branch of the Au Sable River. You can hear the bubbling of the river from inside the house. This property abuts State Land on two sides and the ORV trails are right outside the driveway (no need to trailer your "toys"). Plenty of parking. Plenty of outdoor space as it has an upper deck, lower patio, screened in porch and fire pit right next to the river. As far as indoor space there are three different living rooms, four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. Well-stocked kitchen. Gas grill out on the patio.
