Mountains are calling! Welcome to Whistling Rainier Cabin, just 5 minutes away from Mt. Rainier National Park which offers the best hiking Trails and wonderful scenery! After a long day of adventure, soak in the covered hot tub or enjoy the outdoor fire pit. Cabin also offers BBQ grill, Outdoor dining, well stocked kitchen, coffee bar, Wi-fi, AC, washer dryer and TV. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. If you're lucky you'll see deer grazing near the cabin.
Mt. Rainier National Park Cabins invites you to discover Whistling Rainier. A/C, fully equipped kitchen, and covered hot tub are just a few of the features included for your comfort.
The first floor has multiple areas to relax, congregate, or settle in with a good book. The kitchen features brand new appliances with everything one would need to make a delicious meal. You will find a guest bedroom on this floor perfect for those uncomfortable navigating stairs. The new luxury mattresses for a great night's rest!
Upstairs you will find a second and third bedroom along with a sleeping loft. There is a good chance you will wake up commenting on your restful night sleep on our comfortable memory foam mattress.
The amenities continue outside. Grill dinner on the provided gas grill and eat under the trees at the outdoor dining table. An additional outdoor sitting area is covered to ensure you're able to enjoy nature no matter the weather! Roast marshmallows in the fire pit or take a soak in our new, covered hot tub. Chances are you will have several opportunonities to meet the local deer in our neighborhood.
Other things to note
We allow guests to bring up to two dogs that are 2+ years of age at time of stay. Pet fee is per dog($60). We are not able to host any other animals/pets. A $250 fee is assessed for unregistered dogs.
-Dogs must be 2+ years old at time of reservation to stay.
-Dogs are only allowed on hard surface areas of home (kitchen, family room).
-Dogs may not go into bedrooms or lofts.
-While we'd prefer for dogs not to be on the sofa, we do provide extra blankets and/or sofa covers that can be used if this is not possible for your dog.
-Dogs must be crated if left unattended.
-All excrement must be picked up outside.
-Dog hair should be removed from all surfaces prior to your departure.
-Dogs must be on a leash when in the neighborhood and may not wander onto the neighbor’s property.
Grill, patio furniture, and/or hammocks are available Memorial Day through Labor Day. They may not be available outside of these dates.
Due to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flashlights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest chooses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.
The hot tub chemicals are balanced twice a week. The tech is onsite for approximately 15 minutes. Hot tub use is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions or skin sensitivities. Please consult with your doctor prior to use if this applies to you.
Infants are counted within the max occupancy of our home and should be registered as children.
A ring security camera captures video of the driveway and front porch. It is on and recording 24/7 regardless of occupancy.
We have partnered with local service providers to provide the following optional ad-on services. Fees for add on services are listed below and shall be paid directly to owner via Stripe.
Snowshoe rental: $25/set
Trekking Poles: $15
Firewood Bundle: $20 (includes a bundle of kindling and large bundle of firewood
EV Charging (NEMA 14-50 outlet) $25/stay
