The house was clean and tidy, exactly as described. Comfortable beds, full kitchen, laundry and plenty of hot water for showers. Would highly recommend. Easy commute into DC for all the visitor attractions.
I am a 24 year renter of VRBO, and a previous VRBO owner/ manager. Owner advertises “Sleeps Eight”. But realize that ANY guests over 3 people are charged a supplement per person PER NIGHT. In my opinion, this IS NOT a premium home in a premium neighborhood. Living room has inadequate seating for 3 in the only room with a TV. NO extra toilet paper, or paper towels. NO dishwasher detergent… NO garbage cans to dispose of household trash. Windows malfunction, and master bed window was stuck open. I cannot recommend this home in good conscience.
I am a 24 year renter of VRBO, and a previous VRBO owner/ manager. BEWARE! Owner advertises “Sleeps Eight”. But realize that ANY guests over 3 people she charges 100.00/night per person tax! So a family of 8 would incur an EXTRA 500.00 tax PER NIGHT!!! This IS NOT a premium home in a premium neighborhood. Skimpy furnishings throughout. Living room has skimpy seating for 3 in the only room with a TV. NO extra toilet paper, or paper towels. NO dishwasher detergent… NO garbage cans to dispose of household trash (even though we were admonished that there were “labeled cans in the alley” (there were none).I strongly recommend moving on to another property if you can.
We had a wonderful stay at this home in Washington, D.C.! The house was immaculately clean and provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring the city. The walkability to the metro station made getting around super convenient, and we loved seeing so many people out walking their dogs—it gave the neighborhood a friendly and welcoming feel. One thing to note is that there is only one TV in the home, but we were so busy enjoying the city that it wasn’t an issue for us. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely book again!Thank you for a fantastic experience!
House was very clean, nicely decorated and great location. There is a tenant in the basement so there are quiet hours in the morning and evening. We also had a bit of a heat issue since we were there during the winter… The homeowner was attentive and provided space heaters.
This was a really comfortable, homey place to stay in Washington DC. Clean, with a lovely feel. Perfect for s family. Convenient for Union Station and Capitol Hill in particular.
This VRBO was an excellent property to stay at. Very clean and well-maintained, within walking distance to many restaurants and amenities, incl. a bike path. I would happily book again when returning to DC!
