It is very hard to say just how nice this house is. It is gorgeously decorated, has everything you could need and is close to town and the park. Both main bedrooms are downstairs so they are cool for sleeping and have very comfortable beds. It was like staying at a friend's house who happened to be gone. It doesn't have furniture from a flea market, but rather beautiful things that someone lovingly put together. Enjoy!!
What a beautiful home! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We all commented on how clean it was, the beautiful decor and how well stocked it was. The location was fantastic…close to town but you wouldn’t know it. Wildlife was everywhere! We saw deer, bobcat, elk, lots of birds, chipmunks and squirrels AND EVEN A BEAR right in the back yard. We will definitely be booking this place again!!!
What a great house and host. I can see why this house is always top rated. The location is a 10 being minutes from Estes Park and the entrance to RMNP. This house was so well stocked- nice to have things like sandwich bags, seasonings, every utensil you might need. The decor was mountain cabin and a bit quirky, but we liked it. A great meetup spot for our family from Oregon, California and New York.
This house was amazing and had everything! Perfect setup for a large family. Loved all the outdoor seating, often with deer and elk paying us a visit! Plenty of sleeping options and bathrooms for the whole family. Beautiful views ans close to all Estes park has to offer. When we come back, i will book the same house.
Five men from our church stayed at the property. It was very clean and accommodating and the check-in and check-out process was reasonable and simple. Thanks so much for hosting us, we would be glad to stay here again!
This was the last few days of our 12 day Colorado vacation and this place hot the spot. It was spacious, clean and well maintained. The cabin was close to Estes and the national park , we had a wonderful time. Thank you
Came to Estes for a wedding and stayed at this property! It was perfect for 3 couples/long time friends to stay at! Plenary of room! Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to make meals together! Close enough to walk into town or hike the trails. Awesome stay! Host communicated all details and sent us info ahead of time to get park passes!
Our stay was fabulous! The home was beautiful and the decorations in the home were awesome! Feeling like home! It had everything we needed for the week! Close to town to come and go! We would love to stay here again in the future! A little disappointed the phone number we were given to communicate with was not good at acknowledging our text messages.
We loved our stay as it was just as advertised. Our family enjoyed all of the space and multiple decks. The location is close to town and RMNP so planning our days of adventure was easy.
We had a great stay. The property was very clean and spacious. It is a very short walk along the river to downtown and so close to everything else. We would stay again.
We enjoyed the easiness of entering the property and appreciated all the staples and extras that were provided. The home is a lot bigger than we thought! It was somewhat “dated” and needed some work to the outside like weed-pulling, deck cleaning & painting. The worst part was the smell. Some type of perfumed air freshener or cleaning product was very strong throughout the house. Maybe to diffuse the musky basement smell. Perhaps a dehumidifier might help. ??? Poor lighting in the main bedroom in the basement - it was very dark. Overall, the house was fine and we enjoyed our stay.
Great home base for a family wedding in the park. Good proximity and so fun to just sit and have a cup of coffee and watch the deer lounge out the window. The house was well appointed with spices etc which was really helpful. Definitely felt like a home away from home. The house was quite large and perfect for sharing with adult children as everyone had their own space. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
This home was so convenient to everything we needed. Della Terra Chateau for our Sons wedding, the Stanley Hotel and downtown Estes Park. Great family home with tons of space to relax and play games.
Thank you so much for our stay at Old Ranger. We had a fabulous stay! The house is exactly how It is pictured but even more spacious. Comfy beds and so well stocked, they thought of everything. Decorated so nicely in cabin themes. Situated in a quiet neighborhood that makes it feel like you were way out of town but yet you are close to everything. Minutes to restaurants, shopping, Safeway, the Stanley Hotel and RMNP. We had wildlife coming through the yard wild turkeys, elk and deer. Highly recommended. If we make it back for a longer visit we’ll looking to book Old Ranger again.
Our daughter planned her wedding in Estes Park and we reserved this VRBO for the family and as a place for all to gather. We hosted a large group (maybe 25) for dinner and made several meals throughout the week. The bathrooms were amazing, the bedrooms exceptional, and our large family was thrilled with all the space for games/puzzles/visiting/eating/hanging out. With extra large common areas, we had two groups going in the different ends of the living area most of the time. We even constructed 7 bridal bouquets on the dining room table! We did not want for a single thing. Even managed a few loads of laundry. Oh- and the carpet was awesome- maybe brand new? We found ourselves on the ground surrounding the coffee table playing Yahtzee several times and my adult kids sprawled on the floors around the couches. Was a perfect family cabin.
The home is comfortable, well appointed, especially in the kitchen. Owner needs to purchase a new can opener. We were disappointed not to have local channels or cable television. However, our purpose was to get out and see God’s beautiful creation and we did that. It was a great trip!
Lots of space for a larger group, great location and very quiet neighborhood.
The house is very well stocked for cooking and has a lot of space for just relaxing after a day of site seeing. The weather was great for cooking out on the grill and eating on the deck.
While eating breakfast one morning we looked out the big dining room window and a large buck deer was laying and watching us.
This home is minutes from downtown Estes Park and the RMNP entrance.
This was by far the nicest VRBO property we have ever stayed at! The kitchen was very well stocked with almost every pot and pan ,utensils, table ware you could ever need. All the beds were comfortable the bathrooms were beautiful snd also well stocked! We loved our stay here.
