We booked this unit for a few nights this summer with our toddler and newborn. There were a few things that I felt the listing really did not do justice, and a few things to improve upon.
Pros:
-Beds and pillows were comfortable
-I think this unit probably has the BEST views of the entire building. Unobstructed views of the mountains, sounds of Toby Creek rushing by, and green space right outside.
-The Toby pool is the only pool at Pano other than the big ones in the village and it's just out the back door and down 2 min. (note, this pool does not provide towels like the listing says, only the ones in the village do).
-The unit is large and there was room for a pack and play in the master bedroom
-The second bedroom was probably a separate unit at one time, and has a single bed in what was once the entry way (the door is still there), so the bed is wall to wall in that space.
This was amazing for us as our toddler thought it was a novelty "fort bed", and we didn't have to worry about her falling out of bed.
-There is a store a few doors down, and a pizza restaurant (only open in the winter) which is super convenient.
Improvements/Things to be aware of:
-There is NOT free wifi. If you want internet you have to purchase it for $15/day from the Central Check in. For the price of the unit, this was disappointing, and took until our 2nd day to hear back from the owner about. He suggested we just hot spot our phones.
-The building does not have an elevator, and is not accessible. Even the first floor still has stairs. We had a lot of stuff to truck up from the parking lot, and a stroller, so this is something to be aware of.
-There is no information provided in the unit, so if you need to know about the pools, internet, fire place, ski lockers, restaurants, shops etc, you should ask in advance of arrival.
-The stove is not full-sized, and the one large burner didn't work at all, so if you do plan to do some cooking, be aware. The bbq outside was good though.
-The bathrooms had liquid hand soap, and one bathroom had shampoo, but neither had bar soap for the bath, so be sure to bring your own.
-There are no lounge chairs for outside, just a picnic table. Would have been nice to have a chair to sit and relax with a drink and enjoy the views in.
Improvement suggestions are really just minor and overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
