Better Properties Out There

- Due to the layout of the house, the downstairs was dark, especially the kitchen area. - It was generally well equipped, although we did have to buy new batteries for the TV & games consoles remotes, also ping pong balls and the net was broken. - Despite it being able to sleep at least 6 adults there were only 4 sunbeds by the pool which in itself was small and due to the lack of space around all sides there wouldn't be room for more. - The shower at the pool is totally redundant as it is inches behind the pool fencing - The electric light switches were very concerning. Not only were there numerous switches which didn't seem to be connected, the switch in the front room glowed red behind it and got extremely hot. Others seemed to stick. - There is no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes in the annex. - When we arrived late on Monday evening there was no blind or curtains in the bedroom area of the annex (which is at the front, faces east and has a street light!). Additionally the light in the enclosed toilet in the main bath wasn't working. Despite emailing Jeeves 1st thing on Tuesday, we then had to ring and eventually go to the office on Wednesday before things were rectified on Thursday. This meant 3 nights trying to sleep with no blind. - The resort is a lovely area and the "waterpark" - more like a pool with a lazy river and kids water playground - were very pleasant. - Overall we'd prefer to go back to Windsor Hills or somewhere like that.

The overall trip was perfect! Great space for everyone to spread out or all hang out together. Any questions I had were answered immediately and they made sure we were taken care of. Would definitely stay again.

Water heater didn’t work

We came for a short stay to go to Disney. 4 days 3 nights. I chose this house specifically bc it had a hot tub and we visited in February and the weather was uncertain. I checked to make sure the pool would be warm at checkin since we had such a short time to stay. I was assured it starts heating at 8am and takes about 3 hours to fully heat. Upon arrival the pool and hot tub were cold. The hot tub jets wouldn’t turn on. I immediately called and they sent a maintenance man who couldn’t fix the problem. He told us a pool company would be coming. The next day, late morning, no pool man came. I called back and they said someone would be coming. At this point we needed to change our plans of staying at the house and swimming all day. I had to make SEVERAL calls to get a refund for the pool heat. The hot tub did eventually get fixed but the pool never did. We had 3 very disappointed children who had to “swim” in the bath tub.

Tired villa

We arrived to a villa which was not up to standard in our opinion. The pool area and rear outside needed a good clean. The hanging chair at rear needed to be thrown away and it was later. Bulbs were not all working and various issues with main TV and computer games. The bunk beds were a winner with the kids. Every day the grass is cut at the golf course starting at 0530. What really upset us was that digging and excavation work started right next to the villa. We were not offered any alternative accommodation or compensation. It was just a matter of Reunion has a right to start work with no notice anywhere. The emails and photos plus video of all the above was met with standard response which read to us as…. Tuff. Shame.
