Great vacation cabin

We had a wonderful vacation! The cabin was beautiful, and the location was great for us. The views from the cabin were spectacular. We have been to the Smoky Mountains many times, but this was our first time staying here and I highly recommend it.

Lovely cabin

Needs to cut down, if possible, the two smaller trees that block the view. Needs to update kitchen tap so it stops leaking. No hangars for the clothes rack. Bring some!Very clean cabin. Ample sleeping accommodations. Perfect location for a wedding in the lodge.

Serenity #75 - Title was perfect.

As you open the door, the view is exceptionally beautiful, from the furniture, space, and view. Loved the swing on the porch. The quietness was very relaxing. Did not see much wildlife, except for a Squirrel. (Insects - LoL) Enjoyed having a full size refrigerator. Loved the upstairs, our girls came up to visit for a couple days, with our grandson, they loved all the space and beauty the cabin had to offer.

Sucluded and great view

Love the location 2nd time we have stayed there. Needs tlc and updated. Hot tub leaking was broken when we arrived they came and patched it up I had to keep adding water to it, cover blew off during storm down the mountain had to retrieve it due to the cable tie down was missing, told office and nothing was done. Can opener don’t work. There are critters inside cabin soffit making noise and running around. This will be the last time staying at brothers cove due to the last 2 experiences. Last time we were without water for 3 days with slow response time. We love the community but see it not being kept up. When we come on a vacation we expect a quality place. Hope this helps.

Beautiful view and great lay out!

We loved this cabin! The bed is not too comfy but everything else was great! The hot tub kept messing up and we had to have maintenance come out 3 different times. They were on top of it every time and finally fixed it for us. Love the gated community and the views up high are amazing! We will stay here again!

Perfect Peaceful Escape!

We visited Aug. 20-25 with 2 teenagers and all have a terriffic time. We found the home to be very clean and comfortable with lovely mountain views. We would definitely like to return. It was very spacious for 4 of us and we enjoyed spending time IN the home as well as hiking in the nearby Smokies & shopping in Gatlinburg.

Great places - just a few recommendations to be perfect!

We stayed in #75, the cabin is cute, secluded from all others, perfect for a small family (like us 2 adults, 2 kids) or couple. There were a lot of cobwebs and just dust webs, that make it less cleanly, well because I hate spiders and it freaks me out. LOL. I recommend having a dust broom available at the cabin as the woods right off the deck bring in a lot of spiders so daily there were new webs off each deck, that my husband ran into, lol, at least it wasn't me. The #1 issue was the view, Brothers Cove is in a perfect location and has amazing views however this cabin no longer has the amazing view they advertised for. There are two over grown sapling trees that block the view completely and on both decks. #74, #58, and #61 have the absolute best views!! This cabin also the foundation support boards were extremely warped and rotting so that made me weary. The internet was very weak and slow, we have T-Mobile and the cell service was horrible unless in specific spots. But we were on vacation so it wasn't that important to us. We loved the area and cabins so much we rented #58 for our next trip before we even left our first. The staff at the office was very friendly, I like that the community is gated, and well maintained. The scenery in the area is gorgeous, look for wildlife there were groundhogs, bears, turkey, deer, rabbits, they had it all. Many people do all the Hollywood scene attractions but just taking in all the local beauty's and landscape was simply breathtaking. Seeing the clouds and fog go through the mountains early morning was amazing. Definitely stay in Brothers Cove it is convenient to all main attractions and just well worth it.

Perfect Place for Peace and Quiet

We stayed in the Scenic Serenity Cabin at Brothers Cove for our honeymoon last week.. and wow! The cabin was exactly as the pictures profiled... the location, the view was breathtaking. The cabin was so roomy and comfortable. Kitchen with everything you need so staying in is just as option as heading out. Would we return, definitely

6/10 Okay

Overall a nice stay, with a couple of glitches.

Just got back from vacation in Cabin #75 for 6 days, and the cabin was wonderful except for a couple of things. We couldn't make a phone call or receive one on the cell phones or the cabin phone, so if I needed to call the office, I had to drive down to it and talk in person. The wifi was terrible and your phone or laptop had to be in the right place at the right time. We could receive text calls, but sometime we wouldn't get the message until we went into town. But that's the mountains. The washer/dryer combo was broken, and when we opened the door toit, the front fell off where someone had already looked at it. Thank goodness for the wonderful staff at Brothers Cove, to help us out, they let me use a cabin near by to do our laundry. It was just about a three hour delay for our relaxation. The only other thing, and not too much of a bother, but they had a crew digging up the street right in front of the cabin to work on water lines everyday of the week except Saturday, so there was not much Serenity during the day time from about 9 am to 4 pm. We left most of that time, but they parked in the cabin driveway, so we had to squeeze the car in place. This was our 4th trip to Brothers Cove, we've always loved it, and this is no exception, but someone should have known about the washer, and the road construction ahead of time, and maybe put us in a different cabin. Buck's Lookout is where I did my laundry, and everything there seemed good. We've never had issues with Natural Retreats, and may still decide to go back one more time to Brothers Cove, be we will be a lot more particular next time. All in all, we had a nice vacation, everything else about the cabin was good. The staff at Brother Cove should be commended on a great job. Thanks you for sharing with us for a week. I would recommend Brothers Cove, but not Cabin #75.

awesome view, beautiful cabin, gorgeous resort!

My husband and I spent our 30th anniversary at Scenic Serenity. The cabin was very nice and the view from the upper deck was beautiful. The lower deck view could be so much nicer if only a few younger trees could be trimmed back before they get out of control. Also, you need to add more photos of the cabins beautiful backside with all the glass floor to ceiling windows upstairs and downstairs. One of the reasons we had chose this cabin was for the view, but most importantly to us was because it had a land line phone which would keep us in touch with family at home.(600 miles away) We were certain that our cell phones wouldn't work in most places. Very upset that land line never worked the whole week, even after reporting it to office. They came and checked it and said it was the internet providers problem and they would be notified of the problem. We had to constantly worry about what was happening at home with 7-9inches of rain slamming our area. We must admit that it was quite a down fall to deal with and put a damper on our trip that we had been looking forward to for quite awhile! Also, I suggest using some fabric softener on the rough bath towels. Glad we had brought extra ones from home! The bed was very comfy! Hot tub was nice, but light didn't work. Looked like the windows facing out onto main floor deck needed a good cleaning, inside and out. There was a good bit of cobwebs throughout. I know it is a cabin in the woods, but some looked as if they had been there a while. Would probably rent again, with hopes of a few things being addressed a little closer.

Was just an "ok" visit.

We enjoyed our stay. However, there are a few things.... Being in the Hotel business, I understand check in and check out times need to be stringent, however, to pay the prices (when you are a small group or family) that you pay and have a 4:00 PM check in time and a 10:00 AM check out time really seems unfair. (oh and make sure to do the dishes and load the dishwasher (really, I thought I was the guest?) One more hour at check out (11 am) would be very helpful. The cabin was clean, however, is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. Kitchen was stocked very well with utensils, dishes and misc. supplies all of which were very clean. Furniture and equipment was fine. No opportunities with furniture and fixtures. Beekman amenities are a nice touch. However, we prefer much nicer terry (towels, hand towels, wash cloths) I definitely advise to BRING YOUR OWN! Very small, poor quality and very rough to the touch! The water pressure (shower) was awesome for a cabin environment!!! All equipment worked except the fireplace on the first floor. Hot tub needs some attention-Lights on controls do not work...lights inside the hot tub do not work. The view from the 2nd floor balcony is super-impressive! However, some landscaping/tree trimming on the main deck needs to occur to keep from obstructing the view. (I don't mean CUT A TREE). These are saplings that just need removing or at least topped. LOVE the location! This cabin is located at the top of the mountain, therefore, no cabins right next to it. Also, it is at the "end" of the drive so lots of PRIVACY! The cabin next to this location is under extensive renovations so it was super private! Sofa actually slept VERY WELL! Closet door to cleaning supplies was left wide open and some chemicals and cleaning supplies were left out in the cabin proper. (We put them away). We did not find the linen for the sofa so I used the linens that we had in our vehicle. We DID find very poor (velux) blankets and pillows that were soiled. I used the washer/dryer to wash those. Overall, the view was semi ok considering above comments. It seems this cabin needs some maintenance attention and attention to the final clean process. I would select this cabin again. However, only if it was a last option for a cabin with a view. LOTS of choices in the area. We were guests of Brother's Cove for 7+ years, visiting 2-3 times yearly but left becau...

Beautiful view

The view this cabin provides was absolutely breathtaking. So beautiful! As for the cabin itself, it was also very nice, but it was dusty. We noticed quite a thick layer of dust on the light fixture above the dining table, thick layers of dust of the baseboards, and cob webs in more than a few corners within little kid reach. We opted to wear shoes in the cabin because when walking barefoot you could feel the dust on the floors. You could visibly see the dust on our feet. That's my only complaint as far as the cabin itself. The only other general issue I had when arriving past business hours. We were told a packet would be left outside with our last name on it, providing us with directions and codes to enter since it's a gated community. Well, they failed to do so and we were stuck up there with no cell reception at 11pm. The gate keypad had a feature to call for assistance. We did this, but the connection was so poor we lost the person on the other line. We then returned back to the office area and started to use the outdoor landline toncall Natural Retreats, but it wouldn't fully connect. THANKFULLY, a very sweet couple who owned a cabin in the resort drove by and opened the gate for us. We were able to find our cabin and use the door code provided in an email to get into the cabin. We did notify the office of our experience and how they failed to leave the information outside as we were told they would, but received little response. This was a big stressor initially, but we did enjoy our stay and had a very memorable trip.

Needs work

Beautiful view, nice people but cabin needs updating. Fireplace did not work for 2 days, sofa bed mattress was old, flat and gross. Have stayed in Brother's Cove 3 times now and have rented cabins in the area for over 20 years, was hoping that I found a new place to stay but am now looking at other rental companies.

Beautiful Getaway!

My husband and I had a great honeymoon tucked away in the mountains at Brother's Cove. The cabin was exactly what we hoped for and what was displayed on the website. Although the dishwasher messed up halfway through our trip and the surround sound speakers had a static sound, everything else was wonderful! We are looking forward to coming back again soon.
