Cabin 1510 Cherokee Lodge

It was a peaceful stay. Natural Retreat would text you and make sure everything looked good or if there were any problems. The air was blowing out hot told them about it they sent the air conditioner man out and fixed the problem and it stays cool like it is suppose to. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Accessible cabin, great communication

The property management was great to work with. I felt very informed through the whole process and they were quick to respond to any questions. The cabin was perfectly accessible for my parents. Both have mobility issues and were able to access all necessary areas (indoor and outdoor) easily. The location was literally minutes from Dollywood. There were neighboring cabins, but there was enough space that it was quiet and private. All 7 of us had a great experience and I'd happily book with this rental company again.

Family winter vacation

This was a very nice family vacation getaway. The cabin did not have any cleaning supplies but the accommodations were perfect for a large family and the communication was very good.

Not as advertised.

The property needed alot of work, the fireplace, coffee maker and TV's didn't work, they brought us a new coffee pot but the rest of the problems were not fixed during out stay. The driveway had a big hole which made parking very difficult. this was my 3rd experience with VRBO and I was very disappointed.

Great location, terrible beds

The cabin itself is in a great location and very spacious, but all of the beds were uninhabitable. The mattresses and pullout sofas desperately need to be replaced, and there was a strange smell coming from the vents. The place next door on the same property had black mold and I can’t help but wonder if we were exposed to mold as well because we all got respiratory infection symptoms about 2 days in that quickly disappeared after checkout. The place needs an air quality test. One room had a ladybug infestation and a full bed instead of a queen as advertised, and another room had a squirrel or other critter in the wall somewhere. The foosball table and 2 out of 3 pool sticks were unusable as well. Highlights include the hot tub and the spaciousness of the cabin. We had plenty of space for our party of 12 - but we would have been better off on air mattresses. Until these things are fixed I definitely recommend paying extra for a different place with decent beds.

Could be perfect but it wasn’t

The cabin is located 5 mins from food, shopping and Dollywood, about 20 min drive to Gatlinburg attractions and near The Island in Pigeon Forge. The location the space were great. Sadly the cabin was could be better cared for with damaged pullout couches that were not sufficient to sleep on. We had to contact maintenance 3 of the 4 days of our stay, first the heat, fireplaces and garbage disposal were not working, maintenance came around 9pm. Overnight, the heat went out again and we noticed only the living room television was working. Maintenance and direct tv came out and spent a few hours there with us. The 3rd day, Christmas morning, the water stopped working so we were unable to take showers, cook or flush. Again, contacted management (thankfully they were easy to reach each time) who contacted maintenance and had them walk me through resetting the breakers and tank hose to avoid another visit. We found lots of bugs in the house, but they said nothing can be done since we’re in the woods, one of the bedrooms is infested with ladybugs and stink bugs. The driveway is also crumbling so you have to be careful when parking if you don’t have a truck. Overall we made the best of it and hope they fix the issues so others can fully enjoy the stay.

What a wonderful chalet!

We loved the chalet! It was clean and well managed. There was plenty of room for the kids and the dogs. We plan to come back in the fall! Thank you so much :)
