About this property

The Great Kings complex (built 2007) features a large 20m pool, small children's pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and changing facilities and tennis court all for the exclusive use of residents.

Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment (non-smoking). Large double and twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Fully air-conditioned and heated throughout. Fitted kitchen complete with oven, grill, ceramic hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar etc. Living area furnished to very high standard with comfortable 3 and 2 seater leather sofas, 32' LG LCD TV, satellite, DVD player etc. Living area opens out onto large furnished balcony which can also be accessed from the master bedroom - ideal for dining al-fresco on summer evenings. Space too for drying towels, etc.

Flights: There are numerous airlines (scheduled and budget) flying directly into Larnaca. It is also possible to reach from Paphos. The drive across the island takes over 2 hours on mainly motorway.

Getting there: Transfers can be arranged and there are numerous car hire firms where you can pick up car on your arrival. Alternatively, you can use a local company who will drive you to your apartment and return you to the airport, leaving you with the car for the duration of your holiday.

Nice, cosy, everything we needed! (and more)

Thank you for the lovely stay in your appartment. Everything we needed was present, there is a lot of information to find in the appartment (in a book). If we ever come back to Cyprus, we will be going back to your place! Make sure to rent a car, cause all towns, cities are a 10 minute drive away!

Great Kings Apartment

The property was large and well equipped, the pool area was very nice and the parking space was very generous and easy to get in and out of. The apartment itself was a little dusty and there was an unpleasant smell of stale smoke on entrance, the beds were quite uncomfortable but overall it was good value for money and in an area we needed to be in.

5⭐ accomodation.

It is a hidden gem in a quiet place. Very clean, functionally equipped and cozy. the apartment has a good location in the residential complex itself, not by the pool, where it might be noisy, and not facing other windows or walls. Peaceful garden view. We are absolutely happy with our holiday. Hiring a car was a good idea as there is a parking place.

Brilliant

Had a lovely family holiday. The appartment is great. Its clean, full of the essentials, has access to a great pool with plenty of sunbeds. Its quiet, with a car parking spot right next to a lift. It's on the first floor a short walk along the corridor. Shops and local bars and restaurants 2 mins drive away. Communications with the host were a pleasure and we cant thank her enough. We fully reccomend staying.

Apartment was a good size with all modern amenities. Only real criticism I had was there was barely any toilet paper and no bags to dispose of waste. It was after 11pm when we arrived so didn't want to go and find a shop at that time. Host was lovely and answered my every question promptly prior to going. Without doubt it was value for money

Great apartment, well equipped for all our needs. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Immaculate bathroom and very relaxing lounge. Only negative was the lack of English TV, but after a few wines on the balcony who needs a TV ! The complex was kept very clean and we had the pool to ourselves. We do advise hiring a car as the main bars and restaurants are about a 15 min walk. Overall would we stay again, yes great value for the price. Many thanks to Marion for the great communication. Cyprus is wonderful!

My husband and I have travelled to Cyprus on several occasions and I have to say that this apartment did not disappoint us. It is well equipped and we were able to stock up on food and drink in the large fridge/freezer and then relax and eat out or in as the mood suited us. The location is excellent and this apartment, although only metres from the pool, is away from the hustle and bustle of its activity when you just want to relax. We ventured north to Famagusta this time and looked at the crumbling hotels in the 'ghost town'. We also visited Salamis (amazing but not so well preserved as many archaeological sites in the south). We will definitely return to this side of the island soon.

Disappointed

Booked for a week and only.stayed one night. Booked another accommodation in town for the remainder of our stay. Location is horrible. Rubbish/old sofas and bad atmosphere everywhere. Apartment was as seen in the photos. The place had a funny smell but otherwise ok. It was location for us that made it not exceptable.

Nice clean apartment and complex with a cons.

It was a very nice clean apartment and quiet family complex but with a problem with the air-conditioning. Air conditions are very old and the have timers to close every 2 hours in the bedrooms and 1 hour in the leaving room. At night somebody needs to wake up and readjust the timer in order the airconditions to be operational again. And in August with 85% humidity is very difficult to avoid the air-conditioning.

Great Kings

This is the first time we have rented a property for our holidays and from now on this is the way we will be in the furture. From our first enquiry through to returning home was effortless and Commucation was really good. The property was first class, well equiped and most of spotless. It was bright modern and well laid out. The complex was first class and talking to others they all had the same comments as us. We would recommend it to people who want to be away from the crowds and a car is advisable as is it is in area where only a few bars and shops but these suited all our needs. We will return to the above property next year which speaks volumes.

Lovely apartment with pool near to beautiful beaches

We loved staying in this apartment, in a quiet area, with a really lovely pool. Air conditioning in each room and really clean and spacious with balcony in the shade. There are lots of locals living there so as a result (when we were there) we often had the pool to ourselves or only a few others around. I recommend hiring a car especially in the summer months, as we did and then everything is so quick and easy to get to in the heat. Beautiful beaches close by in kapparis and then only 15 mins drive to loads of other places/beaches like konnos beach and Ayia Napa. Very clear and responsive communication with the host who went out of her way to answer some questions I had. Would definitely recommend. Paralimni is a local town 5 minutes drive away with some great restaurants too. Also recommend a tour to famougousta and boat trips from Protaras. Will hopefully be back!

Emplacement idéal pour visiter l'est de l'île. Petit problème à notre arrivée, le ménage avait été fait dans le mauvais appartement, mais Joanne a parfaitement géré la situation. Nous recommandons fortement !

Schöne Anlage und gute Unterkunft für geringes Geld

Alles in einem waren wir zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und wir bedanken uns hier gewohnt haben zu dürfen! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Kommunikation war sehr freundlich und alle waren hilfsbereit. Wir empfehlen unbedingt ein Auto anzumieten, da die Unterkunft etwas abseits liegt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach ausgestattet, was aber völlig ausgereicht hat. Ich weiß wie schwierig es ist gute Putzkräfte in Zypern zu finden aber an der Stelle müsste man leider etwas ändern. Es reicht nicht oberflächlich zu reinigen, es muss hier und da auch mal in den Ecken oder Schubläden sauber gemacht werden. Ein Staubsauger wäre sehr von Vorteil in der Unterkunft und das würde ich als Verbesserungsvorschlag nennen. Was wir sehr ungewöhnlich fanden war, dass bei den Klimaanlagen ein elektrischer Regler dran war, was verhindert, dass die Klimaanlagen länger als 1 Stunde im Wohnzimmer und 2 Stunden maximal in dem Schlafräumen läuft. Wir verstehen absolut warum dies gemacht wird, da viele Leute die Klimaanlagen laufen lassen wenn sie aus dem Haus gehen. Wenn man jedoch in ein Land reist, wo es im Sommer gerne mal 40 Grad hat und man muss nachts alle 2 Stunden aufstehen, um die Klimaanlage zu aktivieren, dann ist das weniger erholsam. Die Anlage ist sehr toll und sehr gepflegt und wir waren begeistert von der tollen Poollandschaft, wo immer ausreichend Liegen zur Verfügung standen. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft, trotz kleiner Mängel jedem, der diese tolle Insel besuchen möchte!

Große perfekt ausgestattete Ferienwohnung im Osten Zyperns

Meine Frau und ich (Rentner) waren bis März 2023 insgesamt 3 Monate auf Zypern und hatten insgesamt 3 Ferienwohnungen für jeweils 1 Monat angemietet - 2 weitere im Westen, in Paphos und Pegeia. Diese Unterkunft im Osten war objektiv die Beste: Groß mit 2 Schlafzimmern (brauchten wir nicht, aber meine Frau hatte ein Bügelzimmer), in allem komplett ausgestattet mit wirklich bequemem Doppelbett. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich in jedem Raum als Heizung betreiben (Jan 23 war regnerisch und kühl). Perfekt auch der überdachte PKW-Stellplatz eine Etage tiefer mit Aufzug hoch zur Wohnung. Interessante Umgebung - mit Sonnenaufgang an der Ostküste aus dem Meer (wir erlebten ihn am 22.01.2023 um 06:49 Uhr, leider kann ich keine Fotos mitsenden) oder das nahegelegenen Agia Napa, wo wir den schönsten weißen Sandstrand unserer gesamten Reise vorfanden. Great Kings liegt eigentlich am Ostrand von Paralimni, in welch größerer Stadt man alle im Urlaub benötigten Einrichtungen und Geschäfte findet (z. B. auch Globus und Lidl). - Wir waren einfach rundum zufrieden, weshalb ich oben auch ausnahmslos jeweils 5 Sterne vergab.

We used the apartment as a base to visit family. We hired a car so can only comment as a car user. The apartment was nice and comfortable, everything we needed, nice balcony, quiet. It is ideally placed to visit Ayia Napa, Paralimni, Kapparis, Protaras and a short run to the north. Our 6 year old grandson stayed with us most nights and was very happy. Our contact with owners and agent was very personable and they couldn't help enough. Thank you.

Very comfortable spacious apartment

This is not the first time we have stayed in this apartment complex. If you rent a car, then this complex is very convenient - very close to the local beach, close to the center of Paralimni, near the Metro supermarket with an excellent selection of goods and low prices. The apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay, there is everything like at home, even umbrellas and tennis rackets. The complex has a large communal swimming pool. I really liked it, we highly recommend it for listening. Thank you to the hosts for the opportunity to stay in this apartment.

Lovely appartment

I stayed with my husband son and his fiance , plenty of room , a really nice appartment . We hires a car as it is a walk down to the strip (Kennedy Avenue) but also this gave us the freedom to do what we wanted when we wanted . The pool area is lovely very big so not on top of each other, We did go september so this may be busier in the school breaks . Overall a very nice place would recommened
