CAMP COCODRIE- Premier Waterfront Fishing and Hunting Lodge

Newly updated fishing and hunting lodge for rent in Cocodrie, La. Camp has been completely updated with luxury plank flooring, stainless appliances, granite countertops, leather reclining sofas, new beds, and 65” LED TV to name a few. If you are planning a trip to south Louisiana for a fishing or hunting adventure and you are looking for an upscale relaxing place to call home then this is the place for you. This is not your typical 'camp'. This is truly a second home. After a long day on the water feel free to pull your boat into the slip, pour yourself a drink and relax on the large back deck, new leather recliners, or swings along the bayou. Don't forget to set the crab trap so you can have a crab boil during your stay.

The lodge sleeps 6-8 and has the following ammenities:

Cocodrie Fishing Trip

We had a great stay at Camp Cocodrie during a recent fishing trip. The host was very accommodating and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. This VRBO is clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good fishing camp

The location is great for inshore and near-shore fishing. The kitchen was well outfitted, the best I've seen for a rental property. The photos show boat lifts, but these were out of order and only one of the slips was usable. If only there was an ice machine, it would be the perfect camp for fishing trips. We expect to rent this place again!

Perfect spot for a weekend get away

We enjoyed our stay at this camp. Everything was clean and in place. We plan on getting back down this summer and am looking forward to it. Hopefully the bridge is back up and open by then.

Great place to stay and fish!

I've stayed in many camps throughout south Louisiana and this one was by far the nicest. Everything we needed was in the house and was of good quality. As far as location, the camp is in the perfect spot for fishing the marsh to the east or west. The covered boat lift and cleaning station was a real plus after a long day in the sun. I would highly recommend this camp for anyone rather it be a family with kids or a group of anglers you can't go wrong!

We have made our annual trip to Louisiana for a Fishing trip. We have been going since 2019. We have now started to include my sister in law and husband. We fish for two days. We stayed at this place last year and enjoyed the place so we are back this year. Great place and wonderful owner.

Awesome Hunting Camp!!!

What a great place for a fish excursion or just a relaxing get away from it all weekend. The home has everything needed to enjoy a weekend. HDTV, Stereo, DVD Player. Close to grocery stores and bait shops. Dock is great for the kids to do a little fishing off of. I would HIGHLY recommend this camp to anyone interested in a calm, quiet, peaceful getaway.

WoW!

I was pleasantly suprised at how nice this place is ! It's not a "camp". Its a home. Clean, beautiful. Nice furniture (recliner sofas and large screen TV were the kids' favorite!) . Photo's were accurate. Everything we needed was there....Owner was very nice, helpful, available if needed. Will definitely plan on coming back! Thanks for a fun getaway!

Speckled Trout Heaven

This camp is perfect for speckled trout fishing. A two minute boat ride and you're on the fish! We dressed 120 trout and 30 reds during our 6 days of fishing. Only problem was there's not enough freezer space for our catch. I highly recommend this camp to everyone. It's in the perfect location. Josh, the owner, is super nice and at tentative to your every need. He even said he would have a small chest freezer before we go down next year. Great camp!!!!!

Perfect Fall Fishing!

Another wonderful stay at Camp Cocodrie. We love this camp! The location, the cleanliness, and especially the attentiveness of Josh. The internet was down for 3 days but Josh worked tirelessly to get Spectrum out to the camp to get the internet repaired. Our cousins, from Oklahoma, we're impressed with the camp and the boat dock. Debbie really liked catching fish off the dock and feeding the pelicans while the guys cleaned our catch. We can't think of a better place to stay while fishing in south Louisiana. Thank You Josh for another great fishing trip!

Why they chose this property

This is our second property in Cocodrie. The fishing in the area just doesn't get any better. We chose this property because it sits on the water and allows for the most relaxing time coupled with upscale accomodations.

What makes this property unique

The ability to come 'home' from a long day fishing and immediately begin relaxing. You can sit on the back deck and overlook Madison Bay or hang out on the swings downstairs around the BBQ pit and boiling pots while fishing off the dock.
