Welcome to Fjeldheim, our cozy mountain retreat in Geilo. Perfect for family gatherings, ski weekends, and nature retreats, our modern cabin features sleek design, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large fireplace to warm up after the slopes. Easy ski in/ski out access to Vestlia. The home offers a main living area for friends and couples, plus an upstairs kids' area for family relaxation. Whether by the fire or exploring outdoors, Fjeldheim ensures an unforgettable stay.

Fjeldheim is our mountain home away from home. We are Even, a Norwegian, and Marna, from the US. We live in New York now. Our cabin reflects our love for the Norwegian mountains and serves as a modern but very cozy retreat for us—and now for you too.

The cabin features five bedrooms and sleeps up to 13 guests, making it ideal for families and groups. A baby cot is also available. On the first floor, you'll find the main living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms: one with a king-sized bed, one with a queen-sized bed, and one with two single beds. There are two fireplaces—the open wood-burning fireplace (with wood provided free of charge!) and an antique Norwegian fireplace.

Upstairs, there's a TV/gaming room that kids love, loaded with board games like Monopoly and Settlers of Catan, both a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox One with popular games, puzzles, and books (both Norwegian and English). The upstairs bedroom has two bunk beds that sleep four. There’s also a desk and chair if you need to work between skiing.

Downstairs, there's a bedroom with another king-size bed, and a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer (recently added, not in the photo).

Enjoy high-speed 100 Mb Wi-Fi throughout the cabin and underfloor heating to keep you warm during chilly nights. Step outside to the spacious deck—perfect for sipping morning coffee while taking in panoramic mountain views. Both Nespresso coffee pods and pour-over coffee is provided. In warmer months, explore nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, and horseback riding adventures.

We strive to make everyone's stay enjoyable. The cabin is non-smoking and pet-free. The main rooms including 3 bedroom are on the main level. For more details, please refer to our house rules section.

Self-checkin via smart lock. You are free to use all areas of the cabin, except for one locked owners-closet downstairs. There is parking for up to 4 cars right in front of the cabin. Electric car charging available through Defa 25A car charger (5 NOK per kWh).

Before you arrive you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Superhog. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process. You will also be given the choice between a security deposit (500 euro) or a non-refundable damage waiver (35 euro).

Linens can be provided at 150kr per set. That includes full set of bedlinen plus 2 towels (1 large, 1 small) per person. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like this service and how many sets are needed. If you rather decide to bring your own, all duvets are 150x200 cm (two duvets and two pillows are provided for all queen/king size beds).
