We are so excited to share our home away from home, Tequila Mockingbird, with you!
We are located in the heart of 30A, situated right in the middle of the communities of Seaside and Rosemary! There are several nearby beach accesses (posted below), and we are across the street from The Big Chill, where you can find plenty of dining options as well as activities throughout the week for everyone in your group! And if you want to explore other areas along 30A you can cart, bike, or walk to many amazing restaurants, charming boutiques, or the white, sandy beaches of 30A!

Our beautiful 2-story townhome offers a blend of comfort and coastal charm. With spacious living areas, it features a bright open-plan kitchen, dining space, and living room for everyone in your group to relax, play a game, or share a meal. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for your group! The dining area hosts a large table that seats at least 6, with additional seating at the bar. The living area has a sofa bed (if needed for extra room), extra seating, and a large screen Smart TV. From the living room you can step out onto your private patio to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a sunset cocktail. There is a spacious laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, drying rack, and iron/ironing board, as well as a half bath rounding out the main floor.
Upstairs you'll love all of the hardwood floors (no carpet!). All of our bedrooms have top of the line mattresses and luxury linens, along with Smart TVs, ceiling fans, and closets.
BEDROOM CONFIGURATION:
-Master Bedroom - generously sized, king bed, Smart TV. Ensuite bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and linen closet. There is no lack of storage space with the dresser and huge, walk-in closet (can easily fit the provided pack & play).
-Guest Bedroom - queen bed, with a dresser, Smart TV, closet.
-Bunk Room - queen over queen bunk bed (storage drawers on lower bunk), Smart TV, closet.
The second full bath is located directly across from the guest and bunk rooms. It also has generous storage and space, and a tub/shower combination.
AMENITIES: We want your vacation to be as stress-free as possible, so we have made every effort to make sure you have everything you will need! We provide beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, beach shade, and beach toys!
TRANSPORTATION:
-Bikes - Five adult bikes are supplied with every stay.
-Golf Cart - We offer a 6-seater gas-powered golf cart that can take you up and down 30A and you never have to worry about finding an outlet to recharge. ***Golf cart driver MUST have a valid driver’s license and be 25 years of age. Waivers, and photo of driver’s license and insurance card must be provided prior to your stay.
COMMUNITY AMMENITIES:
-Two large sparkling pools, one of which is steps from your door and seasonally heated (Oct/Nov/Mar/Apr). You can easily walk and not have to worry about finding parking near the pool. There is an array of seating (tables and lounge chairs) and cabanas surrounding the pool, and gas grills for grilling out.
-Pedestrian trail that runs alongside 30A that is ideal for morning jogs, evening strolls, or a bike ride! And of course, The Big Chill!
Beach Accesses:
- Deer Lake State Park Beach Access: Closest to Prominence, just half a mile west. This beach access has 50 parking spots available along with bathrooms, dining pavilions, & charcoal grills. It is a State Park so the gates are open sunrise to sunset. The boardwalk here is lengthy (about a quarter mile), but the views are beautiful! There is a $3 entry fee per vehicle that can be paid with cash on site (they do not make change).
- Santa Clara: Santa Clara access is ADA approved and is located about 3.5 west, near Bamble Grove Rd. Parking and bathrooms are also available at this access.
- Walton Dunes Beach Access: 10 min. golf cart ride west on 30A. This access is tucked in a residential area off 30A and has a small public parking lot close to beach access entry. *No boardwalk or steps here.
- Gulf Lakes Beach Access: Located about 1 mile East of Prominence. This is a small access that can be easily missed,
- Seabreeze Beach Access: Just east Gulf Lakes Access that has available parking on the north side of 30A, close to its entry.
- Inlet Beach Regional Access: 15-minute car ride to the west, but is a great option with ample parking, on-duty Lifeguards, and restrooms. You cannot take the golf cart to the Inlet Beach Access.
No Smoking: Smoking in any form (e.g. cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) is not permitted in Tequila Mockingbird. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
*Check in is 4:00 PM & check out is 10:00 AM.
*Maximum occupancy is enforced (8 persons).
*All renters must be over 25 years of age.
*Signed Golf Cart Waiver with proof of state issuded ID and proof of insurance is required to have access to golf cart.

Our family is from the Dallas area and we fell in love with 30A almost 10 years ago. It was a dream come true when we were able to purchase a second home/rental property here! We are so excited to share our home with others who love this area as much as we do, and we will do our very best to ensure you have a happy and memorable vacation!
Why they chose this property
We love that Prominence is so centrally located! We are equidistant from Seaside/Watercolor and Rosemary. But what really sold us was once we went to Deer Lake State Park and saw the gorgeous views from the boardwalk there! It was like nothing we'd ever seen on 30A! The Big Chill being across the street was an added bonus. It is so convenient, so much fun, and an easy walk for our kids to head to and from by themselves if need be.
