Best deal Alert! Central location and a 5 Min Walk to the beach

Located in a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood close to public transportation. We are a 5 minute walk/2 minute drive to one of the best beaches on the island. We are located close to the Hastings/Rockely area which has many bars, restaurants and shops. 24 hour Gas station which sells food snacks alcohol etc is a few minutes walk as well. Bridgetown is less than a 10 minute drive away. One of the hosts lives in the downstairs apartment so we will always be easy to reach. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Great location
Michelle was very welcoming and accommodating though we never ended up meeting in person. We stayed here with another couple and the house worked out well for our needs. Close to one of the best beaches, and easy to get minibuses or taxis to anywhere. Thank you for offering to let us stay as travel started getting weird in the middle of March with Covid.

Amazing location near the beach
Michelle’s appartement was perfect for our group. We were a family of 6 travelling together and this appartement was perfect. Fully stock kitchen. Short walk to Pebbles beach and Carlisle Bay. Before our arrival she stock the fridge with some snacks and basics to make breakfast. Each bedroom has AC. Our favourite part from the house was probably the patio. We spend most of our time at the appartement sitting there. Excellent place! Would highly recommend!

Ruhig gelegenre Ferienwohnung in einem Wohngebiet, wo auch mal ein Hund bellt oder Hahn kräht
Schöne gut ausgestattete Fewo. Drei etwa gleichgroße Schlafzimmer mit AC und Ventilator, leidet keine Mückengitter. Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein ensuite Bad mit Toilette, sehr großer Dusche und Waschbecken. Die anderen Zimmer teilen sich das zweite kleinere Bad mit Dusche und Waschbecken. Die Toilette ist separat, leider ohne Waschbecken. Tolle Küche, große Kühl-Gefrier-Kombi, Gasherd mit 6 Platten, ausreichend Gläser, Geschirr und Besteck sowie viele Küchenutensilien wie Dosenöffner, Messer, Eiswürfelbehälter usw. Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, HW-Kocher. Schönes Esszimmer mit drei großen Fenstern, sodass man wie draußen sitzt, Wohnzimmer mit Sitzecke und TV. Herrliche überdachteTerrasse mit Blick auf die umliegenden Gärten, leider gab es nur vier bequeme Sessel und zwei einfache Plastikstühle. Großer rollbarer Tisch aus Euro Paletten. Weg zum Strand ca. 10 Min. auf halbem Weg kann man das Nötigste an Lebensmitteln an der 24 h Tankstelle kaufen. Weitere Supermärkte sind nur mit dem Bus zu erreichen, am besten Massy. Rückfahrt mit dem Taxi. Preis VORHER verhandeln! Busfahren preiswert (3,50 BDS, 1,75$) Beide Währungen werden überall akzeptiert. BDS bekommt man am ATM in der Ankunfthalle am Flughafen, sonst auch an der Tankstelle oder bei allen Banken. Am Strand links vom Radisson Hotel kann man Fast Food kaufen, lecker. Dort ist auch die Tauchbasis sowie ein Toiletten haus mit Duschen und Umkleidekabinen. Man kann für 15 $ pro Tag zwei Liegen mit Schirm mieten oder bringt sich ne Unterlage mit, verwendet die Strandtücher aus der Wohnung und legt sich kostenlos in den Sand, herrlich unter Bäumen. Rechts vom Radisson kann man auch liegen. Von dort kann man zu den Schiffswracks schnorcheln und sieht Schildkröten! Flossen, Maske und Schnorchel unbedingt mitbringen. In der Nähe zur Wohnung gibt es ein chinesisches und ein syrisches Restaurant. 20 min zu Fuß Richtung Oistins erreicht man Pizzeria Mamma Mia. Sehr zu empfehlen. Barbados ist teuer, Pizza ab 20 €. Fischmarkt in Oistins nicht verpassen, leckere Fischplatten, auch an anderen Tagen geöffnet, Freitag und Samstag mit Musik, dafür voll, aber man bekommt noch Plätze. Einfach mit dem Bus fahren, auch zurück kein Problem. Die kleinen weißen Busse fahren quasi ohne Unterbrechung. 18 Personen passen auf jeden Fall rein, die Musik ist laut, aber es ist sooo lustig. Ausflüge kann man selbst machen, wenn man Linksverkehr mag. Sonst einen Taxifahrer ansprechen, die meisten machen Inseltouren. Essen einpacken

Lovely accommodation, perfect location right in the middle, bridgetown a few minutes on the bus and oistins about 15 on the bus in the opposite direction. Walking distance from the best beach in Barbados - Brownes! Such a lovely stay and a lovey host. Rooms all lovely. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time .The place is located within 5 mins walk to the beach at Carisle bay, a convenience store and several restaurants .Easy to get to Bridgetown by walking or bus and easy access to buses to all the popular spots along the south coast. It is near the Garrison area. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.The place is in a quiet residential street and is safe to come and go at any time. The owner was very helpful.

Perfect location for a Caribbean getaway
We cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our Barbados vacation. Michelle's apartment played a pivotal role in that escape to paradise! It was the perfect size to accommodate our party, including, parents, kids, and grandparents. The simple layout let us put kids to bed down the hall and pull back to the inside and outside living spaces for adult time after long days of swimming and tropical adventure. When we needed advice or had questions, responses were prompt, detailed, and helpful. Our worker bees used the fast, reliable internet to keep up with goings on back at the home office. Our football fan enjoyed the HD cable service. We were located within an easy walk to fun beaches and necessities. We had a car, which was convenient for our group, but taxis and buses can be found just a few minutes walk away and also would have served well. All in all, we can't say enough nice things about our hosts or their property. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Quiet Residential Location but close to the beach
This apartment was in the best location for our needs. It is in a quiet and very safe residential area, but located close to the bus access, the Garrisson, and we even walked into Bridgetown (about a half hour walk). The apartment is large and well equipped. There was lots of room for the four of us. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome, as it made sleeping in a hot climate very comfortable. The best part was the 5 minute walk to the beach on Carlisle Bay. We were able to snorkel from shore to the marine park with several wrecks just 400 feet offshore. We went swimming and snorkeling there several times on our trip. We used the bus system (and the ZR taxis) very extensively to go to various attractions on the island. Michelle and her mother made us feel very welcome, We really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend their apartment.
