Enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunsets over looking the lake. With a tiered limestone garden with quaint built in driving range. Bring your own boat for great fishing, water skiing, tubing and other water sports. Beautiful water for swimming.

Only 100 meters from the The Trans Canada Trail, maintained year round. Great for hiking, running, cycling & skiing. 15 minutes from Frontenac Provincial Park.

2 minutes drive to the peaceful village of Sydenham, with it's quaint small town charm with Canada's oldest General Store. Only 20 minutes outside of historic Kingston and less than an hour to the scenic Thousand Islands and United States border. Local grocery store, hardware store, pharmacy and LCBO is just a 5 minute drive away.

Wonderful stay !
Great location, spacious and clean property with all the amenities which was excellent for two couples. Fantastic views of the lake from the decks. Great bike riding in the area and close to Kingston and Prince Edward County for sightseeing

The Waters Edge
Fantastic location right on the water. Excellent fishing, swimming and lounging on the wraparound decks and the dock. Everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Five stars!

Perfect weather
We loved the decks and large dock overlooking the lake and spent many hours there. The kitchen and bathrooms were excellent. Two living areas very comfortable. The decor and finishings throughout are eclectic and creative. We enjoyed looking at all the stuff around. Lake Sydenham was perfect for swimming; clean, clear and a lovely temperature. We would certainly go there again. The setting is just lovely.

Lakehouse with great views
Great location and views. Close to Frontenac Park, and Kingston. We spent lots of time at the dock watching the water and swimming in the lake. Communication with the owners was great. They were proactive and responsive.

Right on the water
Amazing cottage built right on the edge of the lake. You could fish from your deck. Well equipped cottage with everything you would need. If you are looking for a lakeside holiday, you can’t get closer than this. Great communication with the owner and we would certainly return if we are in the Kingston area in summer again.

Once you know the rocks on this side to get out of the water the dock was a place to hang. Having two living areas for our family was great as the kids could join us or do their own thing. Thanks jack and Nadia

We had a great week on Sydenham Lake. The lake house was clean, modern and comfy. It suited our needs well. The seating on the different deck levels was frequently used by us as was the swimming area off of the dock. We also enjoyed the ease of access to the Cataraqui trail system and enjoyed bike rides several times over the week.

Our group was 6 girls total and we had a phenomenal stay. Rooms were great, dock was beautiful and the cottage was even bigger than we had expected based on the photos. Communication was good with hosts as well! Would recommend.

Lovely property by the water. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, canoeing. Super close to a nice hiking trail. There’s a village 2 minutes away with LCBO and grocery store.

Great Lakeside Getaway
Great house in a fantastic location. Hosts helpful and on hand but not intrusive. The town of Sydenham had everything we might need with a surprisingly well stocked grocery store, LCBO and in close proximity to Kingston. Everything was as advertised with no surprises. We had a very relaxing stay and a nice opportunity to visit with family nearby.

Great location
Had a wonderful week at the lake house. First time staying in this region and loved the easy access to trails. Owner was quick to respond to any issues/questions. Water is great for swimming but is steep from the get go and not for babies or those who have mobility issues. The real stand out is the home’s wrap around deck.

Summer Long Weekend
My first time renting - what a great experience! Great house, lots of deck chairs and 3 decks to choose from! Owner was amazing and easy to deal with. Security deposit returned promptly. Not enough towels, bring your own. I had seen that tip on a previous posting so we brought some and didn't have any problems. All in all, a wonderful weekend. Thanks Jack!

Wonderful Lakefront property!
This was my first rental experience and it was fantastic! Comfortable home, lots of deck chairs and 3 decks to choose from! Bring some towels, everything else is there for you. Owner is easy to deal with and very friendly. Security deposit was promptly returned. We rented a canoe and kayaks from Frontenac Canoe and Kayaks right down the road. I definitely recommend this place for friends or family.

Fantastic family getaway!
Loved everything about our time at this beautiful Sydenham Lake House! Had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. Kids loved the bedrooms downstairs and the water at the edge of the door. We loved sitting on the deck at night with a glass of wine and nothing but the fish and the stars to keep us company. The house was clean and well appointed with everything you'll need. Seconds from the town of Sydenham and all its amenities and about 20 minutes from Kingston. Thanks for letting us use your beautiful lake home!
