Great Time!
The view, the space, the facilities, the decor, and the maintainance are all great! The only recommendation I have is to better equip the kitchen, esp. a larger stock pot. We brought the indgredients to make a stew, and there was no pot to do it in. But other than that everything was perfect. The view was georgeous, although we couldn't sit outside as it was pretty chilly. The only outside activity we did was hike hike to the lake several times and fish, both excellent. The owner was very helpful, and responed timely to all inquiries. I hightly recommend this vacation house.
This property has an amazing view! Very peaceful and beautiful location. There was a miscommunication regarding available internet but the owner clarified the situation. Very roomy house.
We chose this cabin for a family guys weekend leading up to my youngest son's wedding in August. Two sons from Oklahoma and two from the Dallas area, so it was the perfect meeting place. We played golf at Chickasaw Pointe on Friday afternoon. Really enjoyed the layout of the course and only 5 minutes away from the cabin. We cooked out steaks Friday evening (the grill does need a little work), which is a great setting overlooking the lake. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us (3 beds and 3 large couches, 2.5 baths), everyone was very comfortable. We fished out of Alberta Creek Saturday morning and we made a donation at the Choctaw Casino Saturday evening, both very reasonable distances from the cabin.
As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the cabin is a little challenging to find. My suggestion is to just follow your GPS even though it looks like you are entering someone's driveway once you turn on to the unpaved part. Ours did lead us right to the cabin's driveway.
The boys want to make this an annual event and we will definitely be looking this cabin for our future outings.

Great location but hard to find
I would recommend for groups and families, an absolutely cool spot! Views of the lake are spectacular. The size of the home is nice and spacious. I found it odd that EVERY toilet had Ajax/Comet still in it and they had not been cleaned. Floor mat in master water closet had hair and dirt, I used other full bath upstairs because of this matter. Go during the day and make sure to turn where there's a sign that says Hummingbird (looks like a private drive) then you pull up, go right, and follow dirt road around to left and house is on right. Directions given took me way back into a sketchy looking area. Thankfully, we decided to find house before going to dinner because it was dusk. That being said we enjoyed our stay and the Blake Shelton concert in Tishomingo (35 minute drive to his restaurant and store, Ole Red).

Great View
Great place for a relaxing weekend at the lake. Fabulous view from living room and patio. Everything worked well and was clean and comfortable. We had rain late Saturday afternoon but were able to watch the PGA with perfect reception on HD TV. We hope to stay there again!

Fantastic lake house getaway!
We truly enjoyed our stay in this house at Lake Texoma. The house is beautiful! The hard work and care for the house is obvious. The view over the lake from the house is amazing. The location was very convenient to get to Catfish Bay Marina, or to run to town for anything you need. Is not a big deal at all to take trash to a dumpster, and very understandable. Also the televisions are very nice, and is not a big deal having only a digital HD antenna with good reception. Was an amazing family weekend making many memories together. Would love to be able to visit here again with the family.

Great surroundings.
The house itself is beautifully situated and designed to offer incredible views from most parts of the house. That part we loved. There are some drawbacks that we were not fond of however. The first being that we were required to haul away our own trash at the end of the stay. Meaning the contents of every trash can in the house. There are no dumpsters on the property and the nearest is a few miles away. If you have a car packed full of stuff, its very inconvenient and not something I have ever experienced before at a property. The house is wholly decorated with dead animals from fish to fox. If you are not into that kind of thing, this is not for you. Many of the appliances are very antiquated also, there are VCRs and CRT TV's in the house that are in desperate need of modernization. There is no wifi available and only local channels. Adding some internet and DirecTV would sure make things nicer. For the price and for the niceness of everything else, having a 20 year old VCR is an anachronism.

Labor Day Weekend 2016
Incredible stay! The view of the lake was fantastic from the living room and two private decks. The house provides seclusion, while being within close driving distance to Catfish Bay marina and Chickasaw Pointe Golf Course. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique fishing decor in the house. Highly recommended.
Thank you Chris for making a very memorable Labor Day Weekend possible.

Great Texoma Vacation Spot
My family enjoyed a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this home. The views from the house are fantastic and make morning coffee and evening drinks even more memorable. We were able to keep our boat at nearby Catfish Bay Marina which was a short drive away and very convenient. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone considering a lake getaway.

Great Lake House!
What a great place! My family stayed there for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. It is a beautiful home and a location that would be hard to beat. It is very clean and the owner does a super job of keeping it maintained. The owner was very helpful in answering all questions which was nice since we were not familiar with the area. Unlike some places we have stayed, the pictures were not misleading as to how nice everything was, it was better! It had everything we needed, just bring some food. The marina is just a few minutes away which was great to rent a slip for our boat. If you want to get away from it all, this home is in a fantastic location with all the privacy you want. We cant wait to come back and would definitely recommend it. You will be glad you did.

Hard to believe you're on Texoma!
After the occasional childhood fishing trip with my dad at Texoma, I thought I had seen all I needed to see. The truth is that I had no idea how beautiful Lake Texoma really can be and this house gives you the best view that I can imagine. A bunch of buddies and I got together for my bachelor party weekend and we were all amazed at the comfort, seclusion, and space that this property provides. I would have to say that the house is far nicer than the photos suggest.
At $385 per night, it is not cheap. Two nights seemed to make sense for us, though. I have never rented a property that featured a closed-circuit camera system before so that was a little strange to me. Be aware if that makes you uncomfortable. The property owner made the rental process very easy and the contract is straightforward.

Father and son golf retreat.
A group of men and there son's from Cherokee Baptist Church Oklahoma City traveled to play a weekend of golf. The accommodations were perfect for our group. Home and grounds were well kept as all appliances and were up to date and function properly. Located with a beautiful view of the lake. Look forward to coming back next year.

Excellent views, excellent stay!
Everything in the house was perfectly described online. Has to be one of the best views of Texoma on the lake. Very rustic but also very clean and completely secluded. 6 adults down for a bachelor party and fishing trip and never felt like there wasn't enough room. It is a bit of a hike going to the water but there is a cleared path to get to it and were able go fishing in the cove at night.
