Only 15 minutes from town.
The space
*Master bedroom King bed with an ensuite,
*Queen bedroom
*Open-plan children's room with 3 single beds upstairs.
The TV is in a separate loft seating space upstairs.
This home was built to flow outside to an expansive garden with comfortable rural living in mind.
Guest access
Come down to the end of the long drive where there is plenty of parking.
You are welcome to enjoy the fruit and vegetables, respectfully, and the chickens will enjoy your leftovers in exchange for their eggs.
Please do not drive on the lawn.
Sleep-outs are not available and are locked.
Other things to note
Our home is only a 15-minute drive to Wanaka or Lake Hawea, with bike trails close by and 2 man-made surf waves. It is 45 minutes to the base of Treble Cone or Cardrona.
There is a school within walking distance that has a great pump track, bike track and 2 playgrounds.
There is a lovely local coffee spot with e-bike hire, or hot tubs for hire just up the road, and Lake Hawea is perfect for swimming or boating.

About the host
Hosted by Hannah Twiss

Hi, I'm Hannah!
I live in a stunning rural setting just out of Wanaka with my partner, Stu, our 3 kids and our furry and feathered friends.
When we aren't busy around the garden or away exploring the country in our caravan, you'll find us at the lake, on a trail or enjoying our property with friends.

Why they chose this property
No matter the season, the view of 'Grand View' is stunning.
We chose this location to build because you can decompress on the drive out from town, before reaching a semi-rural neighbourhood that is safe, private and away from the bustle, but close enough to the action to ski in the morning and hop in a kayak in the same afternoon... before dining out somewhere special.

What makes this property unique
Our property is semi-rural. This means the bore water is clean and fresh, our outdoor living is inviting and expansive, our vegetable garden is usually full, and you can enjoy fresh eggs.
As a family home, it has all the amenities you could need as a base for a few days, especially with your children.
