Very Impressive
We are a family of 5 adults and had a great stay. The apartment is well furnished and very comfortable.Very handy to all attractions.Francois, our host, was very friendly and obliging. We couldn't fault the experience
Our family enjoyed our time in Edinburgh! The property is in a convenient location and close to many attractions and restaurants. The apartment was clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
We had a wonderful time, location was excellent and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere. Very close to a lot of attractions and restaurants and Francois was very helpful. Check in and check out were straight forward and a great trip all round!
Plenty of space for our family of six to relax together between daily walks to local museums, restaurants, and city sights. Natural light and historic building added to the charm.
Fantastic location with everything you need inside
This is was the perfect location and set up well for my adult family of 5 so that everyone had space and privacy. You can walk here from the train station and easily get to all the Edinburgh tourist spots and restaurants without a car. Our favorite pub the Bailey was a recommendation from the host. The only downside is there is street noise throughout the night, but this is to be expected in such a busy area.
Apartment located in walking distance to main attractions. Host was excellent and extremely helpful. Only disappointment was the comfort of the mattresses.
We were impressed by the quick and helpful responses of the owner to our queries. The flat is in a great location. The window shutters and frames could do with a bit of atention - some were tricky to open and close. We would also have appreciated small rubbish bins in the bedrooms and the en suite. The only bin was in the kitchen. Minor quibbles - we do intend to return.
We chose this apartment (in a neoclassical building on the corner of Howe Street and Royal Circus, with high ceilings, a curved back wall in the living room, and fine views, but with modern bathrooms and kitchen) because it was the updated first floor version of the matching flat 2 floors up that my wife had lived with friends in 1972-1973, the year before we married. Nostalgic for us, but also with a bedroom for my son and daughter-in-law and a smaller one for my granddaughter when they came for part of the time.
Our family enjoyed our stay. The location is ideal for walking about the city. Great little coffee shop across the street & there is a small market 3 doors up.
Don’t bring a car (we didn’t) because parking is nonexistent.
The host met us on our arrival and gave us a brief overview of the apartment, which we appreciated.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient to downtown and transportation. Grocery and restaurant are next door. Francois was available for all of our needs. We highly recommend this property for families or couples.
Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Old charm but modern amenities. Very clean and well-stocked. We were able to walk or catch a bus to anywhere we wanted to go.
Our first time traveling as an extended family of 7 to Edinburgh, and what an amazing location to stay in! New Town was close to the action but felt like a peaceful suburb.
Our 14-month old loved looking out of the huge windows at the cars (and dogs!) on the street. The kitchen was great for saving a little money on breakfast and lunches.
Having a Sainsbury’s a few doors down was one of the biggest perks! We went there multiple times a day. Kitty O’Shea’s up the street was another highlight.
Francois was very accommodating with items for our baby and worked with us through some electrical challenges.
Highly recommend!
