WE STRONGLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Ugh, where do I even begin with this absolute disaster of a "rental"? Calling it a dive would be a compliment. From the moment we dared to approach the entrance, dodging a charming collection of cigarette butts, we knew we had made a grave mistake.
Stepping inside was like entering a biohazard zone. Let's start with the "freshly laundered" linens, shall we? The pillowcases sported a delightful assortment of questionable stains, hair, and looked unwashed. And the soap? Oh, it was there alright – a tiny thing that had clearly seen better days (and many, many hands). Mirrors were dirty and the growing potatoes in what I can only assume was supposed to be a storage area. Yes, you read that right. Actual sprouts reaching for the faint light, a testament to the long-term neglect of this charming abode. Fridge is full of opened and used food. Mattresses leaning by the wall everywhere.
And the aroma? A symphony of stale smoke, something vaguely rotten (I suspect the onion corpse I later discovered). Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the trauma and steer clear.
We booked a hotel instead of staying at this awful place. The owner didn’t refund us and justifying that his place is clean. Kudos to expedia’s customer service supervisor for taking care of the refund.
