Do not book!

Booked the VRBO, paid, and received arrival instructions for the lock box 2 days beforehand. Arrived with my husband, 3yo and 8mo sons to find no key in the lockbox. Sent multiple calls to the host. He finally replied that he had no short-term rentals, only long-term. He didn’t know why I was able to book or had received the lockbox code. In review of the listing, it does not indicate that it’s long-term anywhere. Host did not care that I had to find new accommodations for my family with young children at 6pm on a Friday night. I received no apology. I would not want to work with him for short-term OR long-term rentals.
