About this property

Modern central Chamonix apartment with free WiFi and parking. Mont Blanc views

Our apartment "Woody" is the perfect Chamonix getaway for sole adventurers, couples or small family. The central location offers walking access to the main attractions and a wide selection of bars, restaurant and shops. Recently renovated to a very high standard, it has views from the south facing balcony over Mont Blanc.
The space
The apartment is technically 27m2, but with a large mezzanine (reduced height) bedroom, is 45m2. It features a modern well equipped open plan kitchen with bar stool dining. The living room is light and airy with a high ceiling and leads onto a small south facing balcony with outside dining table and spectacular views down the valley and up Mont Blanc. The bathroom is modern with a large shower cubicle and under floor heating. It also has a small bedroom with a single bed and storage in addition to the mezzanine level with king size bed. Free private parking is in front of the building and the property comes with a small secure storage for your skis.

Mezzanine - The good size mezzanine sleeps two in a large king size bed. It is accessed by a sturdy staircase and has security glass balustrade to give the space and open safe feeling.

Bedroom - This is a cosy room that uses space maximising designed to provide space for bunk beds. Technically there are beds for two, but we prefer to offer this room for one person. The mattresses are custom made to fit the small space. Beds 170/80cm.

Kitchen - Compact design, but with everything you could wish for in a small apartment. Worth noting that there is no inside dining table. Instead bar stools with a small bar area.

Parking - One free parking space is provided with the rental. Its location is right in front of the steps to the apartment. However the apartment is so well located on the edge of town and with good bus and train option, that you might never need to move it during your stay.

My name is Will and I manage the apartment Woody, along with a number of other places in town. I have spent most of my working life in and around Alpin tourism and firsts moved to Chamonix in 2000. Having spent much of my working life working as a chef in numerous hotels, restaurants and my own chalet, I have now been managing properties for over ten years.

Why they chose this property

This apartment is so well placed for trips to Chamonix. It has the benefit of free parking, yet sits within a few seconds walk of the pedestrian area of Chamonix town center. Valley buses and trains are close by, so traveling to the property and around the valley is as easy as you could hope for.

What makes this property unique

The apartment has been renovated to the highest standard. The mezzanine has a low ceiling, but makes great use of the apartment space. The views from the small terrace are amazing and get loads of afternoon and evening sunshine.
