This condo features an updated, clean kitchen, living and dining room combo~enjoy beach and sunset views from inside condo~queen sleeper sofa, love seat, cable tv, breakfast bar and dining room~newly remodeld kitchen features dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, full refrigerator, coffee pot, blender~nicely stocked for a comfortable stay; a spacious bedroom, queen bed and plenty of closet space; full bath/shower combo, bath/beach towels, linens included.

Sunset Chateau complex is a short walk to popular Caddy's On The Beach for food and fun~ live entertainment. A short 5 min. drive to restaurants, bars, beach shops, grocery store and more. Watch the sunsets, relax on the beach or swim in the pool (heated).

Great stay
Love this property. Everything we needed was provided. Love that the beach was right outside my door. Enjoyed hunting for sand dollars. Downside was problem occasionally with elevator and getting the toilet to flush.

The unit was old and needs renovation, particularly to the kitchen and bathroom. Appliances were old- even the hairdryer. Great lo cation, though.

It was one of the most incredible times I’ve ever had at the beach. Our condo was superior and staff
We were there for three days and I wish it could’ve been three months. Everyone was incredibly nice and the area is someplace that I would want to live permanently.

Update
Bed and sofa sleeper needs updated. There was not a blanket for the sofa sleeper. The bathroom needs updated and mold growing on shower door.

Not impressed
Luckily, we had nice weather and stayed on the beach more than in the condo. For the money spent for, my family could have stayed somewhere nicer. There was not enough room for the four of us, especially using the pull out couch. The mattress from the pull out was very thin and uncomfortable. We had to bring in a blow up mattress for them to sleep comfortably. Tacky paper was peeling from the kitchen cabinets drawers and toilet didn’t flush properly the entire time we were there. Condo really needs some upgrades!

Great Getaway
Had a great experience staying at the Sunset Chateau. Found the property to be clean with the comforts of home. Loved the pool & the beach access. Only a few improvements should be made, needs new pillows, screen door should be repaired properly & more towels would have been great. Overall we will be back!

Great location but make sure you know the rules of condo
We have been staying at this location for 6 plus years. We love the location being so close to the beach. This year we had a family reunion and brought a 10 ft trailer with 6 kayaks. Well let me tell you, what a horrible hassle from the property mgmt! NO WHERE on the VRBO listing does it say you can't have a trailer attached to your vehicle. Even though we had stayed at this location before we have never brought a trailer, so we had NO IDEA this was not allowed. The ONLY place you at Sunset Chateau where this policy is stated is on a poster in the elevator. We checked in Saturday, half way through the week up until Wednesday , we had multiple calls and threated to be towed several times. We were happy to abide by the rules, which would have been nice to know BEFORE we drove 13 hours to get there, but NEVER did they offer a solution for us to park this trailer anywhere else. We ended up paying a dock $120 to park it there for 4 days. Our representative from VRBO was great about calling us and helping us but the mgmt at Sunset Chateau was horrible!! Needless to say the location is awesome, but if you have a problem don't expect anyone to help you.

Condo was ok-Propery Manager was helpful but would not stay at again
The condo itself was ok but lacked towels. The long weekend which was Memorial Day weekend was very crowded and loud. Music blasted from other condos and beach all weekend long. We had a 1 1/2 year old in our condo which I would not recommend. Also the smell of marijuana was heavy around the complex.

Great Location but.......
We’ve been to the Sunset Chateau before many times when our family stayed there. This was our first time. The property itself was not as clean as we would have liked (sand on the floor, dirty shower doors, etc....basically all of the things that people complained about in the past which were clearly not addressed) but I guess some of it comes along with being right on the beach. I saw a comment below about the storm door being broken. Apparently the solution was to rip it off the hinges leaving behind a metal piece sticking straight out at knee level. We didn’t see it until my wife cut her leg while trying to get our sons stroller through the door. Nothing serious but still annoying. The cops got called on our second night because there was someone on our floor blasting music. He is an owner on the 4th floor and has absolutely no regard for his neighbors. After the cops left he started yelling and cursing at the people who called the cops on him (very classy). Apparently the cops did nothing because he continued to blast the music starting the next night. I can deal with loud music to a certain time but 11pm is a bit ridiculous. One night he was carrying his huge speaker up and down the walkway outside the doors and didn’t stop until we went out and yelled at him for waking up our colic 2.5 month old after we just fought for an hour to get him to bed. Drunk and disorderly doesn’t cover it. We definitely won’t be staying at this place ever again. There are plenty of other nicer places that are right on the beach at the same price point. Oh.....and no lounge chairs by the pool??? Why even bother having a pool??

I loved opening the windows and hearing the waves. I wished there were chairs at the pool area. The bottom floor appeared to be boarded up which looked a little concerning when I first arrived. There was only one working elevator so there was some wait time. But, all in all great location and as it appeared in the listing. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Incredible location. Condo was fair for price should have been in better shape. No blankets for pull out couch, 4 cheap pillows, 2 beach towels and 2 poor beach chairs, toilet issues... Location, weather and sunshine made up for substandard condo.

Ocean View Getaway
Much needed getaway right on the beach with an amazing ocean view! Great location and views. FYI parking is very strict, we had friends come by (long enough to change clothes and switch cars) and within 10 minutes their vehicle was on a tow truck.

Quick Getaway
Pros: Location in development and to beach was perfect, nice size living room and bedroom. Nicely equipped kitchen. Clean Cons: Mattress needs replacement, was uncomfortable, storm door needs attention, bedroom ceiling fan needs light bulbs. We were locked out after hours and the person on call took our call but no one responded until the next morning. We were fortunate that someone let us on the elevator.
