About this property
Home of Gaia - Retreat - Meditate - Create - Spiritual home for creative people
My place is nestled in an apple orchard, located on a mountain cliff opposite Manali, I live on the edges of civilization and the forest no immediate neighbors and the mountain peeks, waterfalls close by. I enjoy my little piece of heaven in the clouds, hope you will too.
This place is close to the ancient village of sage Vashishsth, with history dating back more than 5000 years; home to natural hot springs and the original home to spiritual exploration since the beginning of human civilization.
The Space
My place is located on a mountain cliff opposite Manali Town. When I say its a cliff, I am not joking... Though this makes it a tough place to get to, however it has its perks. You would be away from all the traffic, all noise, people and can actually experience what peace and quite really is while having access to all the basic amenities such as hot water, modern toilet, Internet Connectivity, sound system to play your music from, electricity and yet most likely you wouldn't feel the need of any of this because this place is so high that most of your time goes in just watching the clouds pass by.
This place is a true synonym to "living in the clouds", though very romantic and inspiring it can also be a bit surprising with sudden presence of wild animals and creepy crawlies and you'll realize how "close to nature" you really are.
Some of the best time is when there is no electricity anywhere and you can see millions of stars in the sky and if you come in the right time... you may even get to see the milky way ... our galaxies magnificent shining arm.
This place is best for - Artists / Musicians / Writers / Yogis / Meditative retreats / Connecting to Nature / Disconnecting from mundane life / Practicing minimalist living...
If you have fear of heights, this place may be a way to overcome it.

The Neighborhood
This place is located in an apple orchard, with no immediate neighbors and no roads. The only way to get here goes through a forest and requires good amount of climbing up.
The neighborhood is trees, birds, more trees, shy monkeys, dogs, snow leopards & bears in winter... beautiful flowers and bright weather in summers. The most amazing cloud show throughout the year.
Getting Around
Nearest place to get to is the ancient village of Vashisht, closest town is Manali which is accessible by direct buses from Delhi, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Shimla, Haridwar, Leh (Ladakh).
Nearest Airport is Bhuntar (Kullu)
Other Things to Note
Please note this place is high up in the mountains so you would need some protection from cold / rain and you would need good shoes in order to walk around as the path for the house goes through a ceder forest.
This place is at least a 20 minute hike from the main road and does not have any scope for parking, you'd need to park in one of the village parking lots.
Its not possible to get to this place on your own, once you get to vashisht you will need to call me in order to come and pick you up.
