South Side Shamrock — Close to Beach & Town!

Fantastic location! Just a 10-minute walk to Lake Michigan beach access and Kids Corner playground!! 5 minute drive to town and all its shops, restaurants, and fun things to do.

Fully furnished with central air conditioning/heat, washer/dryer, privacy-fenced backyard with patio, outdoor dining table, gas grill, fire pit and love seat swing. Don’t forget to visit the famous “Club Hazel,” our name for the hangout space within our converted garage, that features a reclaimed wood bar, mini fridge, mood lighting, blue tooth speaker, and seating that opens to patio.

It all sits on a nicely manicured lot in a safe, quiet neighborhood. We’ve got 4 adult bikes and one kid's bike to get you started, and plenty of space to store, if you’d like to bring more. Then hit the Van Buren trail that’s literally around the corner from our house! Or hop on your bikes for a scenic, short cruise into town. Please bring your own helmets for safety!

The garage is also stocked with sand toys, beach chairs, and 2 wagons — one to haul your gear and one to pull your kiddos!

Fun and board games are waiting for you inside coffee table in living room. Let the friendly competition begin! We’ve even included a ROKU system that allows you to login to view your favorite shows and movies.

Enjoy the most magnificent sunsets you’ll ever see. Spectators have been known to applaud as the last slice of sun melts into the horizon, leaving the sky aglow and hearts full.

The fun doesn’t stop with summer! The area will be bursting with can’t-miss color in the fall when apples are ready for picking and pumpkin patches are waiting for you and yours to explore! Visit some of the local wineries and take in all the crisp autumn beauty you can handle. We like to call this time of year, Girls Getaway and Couples Hideaway Season!

Van Buren Trail is open for year-round adventure whether you’re bicycling, snowmobiling, or cross-country skiing. Festivals aren’t just for summer in South Haven. There are lots of special events to enjoy in the fall and bundle up the last weekend in January into first weekend in February for our annual Ice Breaker when beautiful ice sculptures line the downtown streets along with a chili cook-off, pub slide, cardboard sled race and frozen fish fling. Then wind down with a horse-drawn wagon ride and shop to your heart’s [or wallet’s] content at all the fabulous stores.

No matter what the season, there’s always time to catch a show at the Michigan Theater right in town. This classic venue features first run movies and concessions. Feel like bowling? Check out Lakeside Entertainment — only a 5 minute drive from us on Blue Star Highway!

There’s so much to see and do here in South Haven and our neighboring towns that you’ll have to keep coming back! Saugatuck, with its vibrant arts, dining, and shopping scene is just a 15-minute drive from us. And St. Joseph, the fun, family and foodie focused town is perched on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and the St. Joe River, and makes a perfect day trip, only 20 minutes away.
