Hello!
I was born at an orphanage in Pittsburgh called Rosalia Foundling. I was adopted by a lovely family in Butler PA. After graduating from Butler High School, I left for Rochester NY to further my studies at RIT. Upon graduation I worked in Boston and New York for a few years then was recruited by ADIDAS USA and spent the next few years traveling between Hong Kong/Germany and NJ (where ADIDAS HQ used to be). Short version - after working in NYC I sustained a knee injury, the surgery left me with a condition called drop foot. 3 years of Rehabilitation and hard work got me back on my feet. Leaving Corporate America behind I started teaching yoga/Pilates, which were both a huge part of my rehabilitation, keep in mind this is 1989, So Pilates and Yoga were much more demanding and strict then the versions of yoga that exist today. Somewhere in the was the Birth of my Lovely daughter/Marriage/Divorce and my daughter and I find ourselves in South East Asia, me teaching Yoga and her going to Harrow British School. after 3 years there, a job offer in Paris France we are rolling into Paris armed with absolutely No language skills-Yikes. But in the end Paris as very good to us. I had huge opportunities to train Opera Singers, actors, Musicians, Politicians including Shakira, Salma Hayek and others.
After some "Carte de Sejour" issues my daughter and I obtained our Italian nationality. So no Right of Stay issues in Europe. My daughter decided to return to the USA and I stay on for another few years until in 2018, I returned to the USA, Philadelphia to be precise.
During all the moving and working I reconnected with my Biological mother and sister, who live in Pittsburgh. We have become very close and that is why I purchased this house in Swissvale, Pittsburgh.. With all that history behind this little house - Enjoy your stay!

Why they chose this property

I chose this neighborhood because is is close enough to the ciry center that I can be there in 8 minutes, but it is far enough away that It feels suburban

What makes this property unique

The Lloyd Little house was built in 1937 so the history is rich and every floor board and trim piece can tell a thousand stories. I like the outside spaces. The fenced in yard is great for privacy, while at the same time you can be outside enjoying lovely days. The front porch is great for morning coffee or afternoon tea. I really love this house!
