Great location
It's a great location. You're right near a lot of stuff to do and places to shop and eat. The hotel itself is nice, with a good restaurant (bit pricey, but it IS Miami), a relaxing pool area, and spa/gym as well. The unit itself, for me, has more cons than pros. The pros would be the bed, the kitchen area (no disposal though), and the water pressure. The host was pleasant and informative. Communication response was good via texting. The cons:- Gap under front door causes wooshing sound on windy days, which are most days on the 36th floor. Had to keep a towel at the base of the door the whole trip.- Door moves when others on the floor open their door. Sounds like someone trying to open your door.- Bathroom light is motion sensing and horrible if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. Flashbang city. Light was on more than it was off during the trip.- Bathroom light turns on automatically when the AC shuts off. Wiring issue I'm guessing. Can't leave the bathroom door leading to bedroom open because of this.- Door from bedroom to bathroom squeaks LOUD, so opening at night will wake others. - Ceiling fan has knocking sound.- Ceiling fan light comes on randomly if the power switch to it is left on, so can't have that running at night. Flashbang city part 2.- When you turn one TV on, the other turns on also. This list isn't in bad faith or anything, just something for the host to look at and address for future guests. Overall it was a good trip.
