MSU Friday March 2025

Our stay here was so great and the hosts were so thoughtful. They were very welcoming and even asked ahead of time what creamer we'd want to have on hand for our morning coffee. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast every morning. We were in town to visit MSU and I'm sure we'll be staying here again in the upcoming years to visit our incoming college student. Thanks again Shulunds for your hospitality!

Great place to stay. First appearances can be deceiving. Inside is cute and comfy. Our only issue was one bed was very uncomfortable.

Great spot near Bozeman and Belgrade airport.

We had a great stay at this property. The property was well stocked with everything that we needed to cook breakfast meal. The beds were comfortable. The property was immaculately clean. We had good communication with the host, and the check in process was. Straightforward and easy. We will look forward to staying here again if in the Bozeman area. Highly recommend.

Amazing

Everything was exactly as advertised! The home was immaculately clean and incredibly comfortable. Every detail was thought of, including a few snacks left on arrival. The electric fireplace was even turned on prior to check in so that it felt warm and homey immediately. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful as well. One morning when there was fresh snow, we were sent a message giving us a heads up that there was ice under the snow so it was very slipper. I thought that was wonderful, but it was made even better when my husband went to start the car and there was some small gravel for traction all around and a path shoveled. Genuinely a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend and won't hesitate to try to stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

About the host

We love the outdoors, skiing, hiking, snow shoeing, horseback riding, camping, and feel privileged to live in an area that gives us the opportunity to do all these.
Jeff is a Montana native and Brenda is a Colorado girl who loves the mountains and all the activities associated with them.
We also love to travel and experience new and unusual things. We particularly enjoy exploring off the beaten path, trying new foods, and experiencing other cultures.
Our travels have helped us to appreciate the need to provide a clean, comfortable, relaxing space for our guests so they can enjoy what they need most. Be that to unplug and relax or find new adventures.
We are all about making connections and sharing ideas.
The area we live in offers so many amazing things to see, do, and experience and we would love to share those with you.
We have placed guidebooks and maps in your space to help you plan the perfect stay.

Why they chose this property

We have lived on this property since 2017. During the past few years we have worked really hard to get the place into a clean, comfortable, tranquil hobby farm. This area is so beautiful and we have a great front row seat to see the mountains, eagles, owls, fox families, deer, Sandhill cranes, rabbits, ground squirrels, etc.
We try to live in harmony with nature, meaning we don't poison, animals or dandelions. We respect the wild animals and do not feed them human foods.
We are gardeners, keep a flock of egg laying chickens and raise some meat birds each Spring. We are also trying our hand at beekeeping. We raise organic lavender, garlic, and mint to sell. We hope to add to our products in the future.
Many bicycle enthusiasts come out to this area to ride their bikes. One can also enjoy a nice walk down the rural road in front of the house.
We get to enjoy the sunrise over the Bridger Mountains in the morning and the sunset in the evening.
Our neighborhood is a "Dark Sky" community. We use low lights outside and the reward is seeing the Northern lights and the Milky Way as well as Loads of stars.

What makes this property unique

Living in the Bozeman area gives us the opportunity to eat at some wonderful restaurants, Stroll the fantastic downtown area, enjoy an excellent theater with live performances, like Annie, Les Miserables, and Oklahoma. Bozeman also has an excellent dinosaur museum and an amazing planetarium. We enjoy going to the CATS football games at Montana State University in the fall. Bozeman has more than one climbing gym, Bozeman Hot Springs, live music on some nights and a nice variety of pools indoors and out.
We have a local ski area, Bridger Bowl and we have World Class skiing at Big Sky Resort.
There are several Horseback riding outfitters and a few different Horse drawn sleigh rides. We love Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky for their Sleigh Ride with dinner and a cowboy poet/story teller/singer. You can also cross country ski there. In fact there are lots of places to cross county ski in this county.
