Fantastic base for mountain adventures

Great location and within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Easy drive to Banff and the back roads of Canmore are full of treasures. Everything you need is ready to go from spices in the cupboard, games and books for relaxing and towels and robes. The roof-top hot tub was a fantastic way to end each day. Beds were super comfortable and the 4-piece bath with each bedroom were spacious and fantastic. Rustic and elegant at the same time...fantastic weekend away.

Beautiful Mountain Get-away!

This property is a wonderful place to stay in beautiful downtown Canmore! The attention to detail is one of the things we enjoyed most about staying here. They have really thought of everything you need for your stay! This unique property fits its' mountain setting so well! What a gem!

Great Location for our Ski Vacation

This was one of the best properties we have stayed at. Just outside of Banff, Canmore is a great town within driving range of both Sunshine Village and Lake Louise ski resorts. While we opted for a rental car, there was a shuttle bus 2 blocks from the townhome for skiers. Multiple ski rental shops, grocery stores and restaurants were nearby. The townhome itself was charming and cozy. The kitchen was large with an eat-in dining area and a cute reading nook. The living room had a gas fireplace which we enjoyed each evening after a day of skiing. The top level has two spacious bedrooms both with their own bathrooms. Off of the hallway is a door leading to an outdoor patio with a hot tub. Just a note - the jets in the hot tub don't work exactly right but we enjoyed it just the same. We would stay here again!

Beautiful Home away from Home

We can not say enough about our stay. It was the most amazing cozy personal space. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the bedrooms are in the perfect location for the hot tub. We are looking forward to staying there next year as we will be going to the mixed curling bonspiel in Canmore.

Best place to stay in Canmore

We have stayed here 4 times (so far) and will come again as long as it’s available. Most unique place, views to die for, spotlessly clean, tranquil property location, close to everything, wonderful owners. There is no downside to this property. If it is available for your stay, grab it. If it’s not, you should consider changing your plans to a time that it is available.

Fabulous home base for Canadian Rockies

What a spacious and lovely place to come home to after many beautiful hiking experiences. Beth and Randy are gracious hosts, and their place leaves nothing to be desired. Would highly recommend staying at their roomy vacation home. So close to everything in Canmore. And the views out the windows are spectacular.

Perfect location, beautiful property

We couldn’t have been happier with the location of this property: an easy walk to shops and restaurants, a quick drive to the parks, and yet the overall feeling was of privacy and peace. Everything inside was in perfect condition, and we so appreciated the Nespresso machine and pods. This would be a perfect place for one or two couples to stay, as long as they are ok with stairs!

Perfect location

A perfect place to stay in Canmore. Just as described, convenient to everything in town but also almost secluded, tucked against the river. Would stay again next time we are in the area!

This location is amazing

This property exceeded our expectation. It looked great online when we booked it. It was even better than the pictures show. The owners were quite nice. It is walking distance to downtown Canmore. It a quick and easy drive to Banff. The backyard patio by the river was very relaxing and beautiful. I highly recommend this location.

Very nice place / Great location

The property is very conveniently located in downtown Canmore and about 25 mins away from Banff City. It's located very close to everything you would really need and it's all walkable from the rental. Very cozy home, charming, clean, and had almost everything we were looking for. The only two minor complaints I have about the place has to do with the hot tub. One, the property picture is not accurate. There is a high wooden privacy fence in place of the wrought iron fence and the view to the mountain is obstructed when in the hot tub. Two, it's not a completely private hot tub. It's in the shared space with the other units in the bldg. I wish it would've been explicitly stated in the posting.

Girls Trip

Everything was lovely the property was beautiful and the yard was immaculate. Comfortable beds, nice soaps and linens. Also the kitchen was very well stocked. Location was perfect right downtown but it felt private. Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to unwind for the weekend. Beth and Randy were friendly and very accommodating. Could not be happier with our stay. I will definitely we coming back!

Perfect in Every Way!

The house could not have been in a better location. Walk to shops. Super short drive to full grocery/liquor stores. Home has lots of charm and the cool patio by the stream was amazing. So many beautiful trails in the area. Wonderful place...plus the owner fixed my purse when the strap broke!

Lovely unique get away.

Girl weekend in a well equipped comfortable home. Great location, hottub was nice…..artsy , eclectic decor. Lots of stairs so not great if you have mobility challenges.

Amazing getaway

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it was just as amazing as when we stayed the first time. You cant beat the location, its really right in the heart of Canmore. The property has everything you need to make your own meals or do some laundry. Communication with Beth was easy and efficient. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

About the host

Hosted by Beth

Randy and I are parents and grandparents moving towards retirement, wanting a place away from the hustle and bustle of big city living. We found this home by accident as we were looking for a condo but fell in love on first sight. Though Randy continues the commute to Calgary for work, we have been welcomed into this community and have found the friendliness next to none.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property because it allows us to live year round in the mountains, have plenty of room for family and friends and and at other times share this beautiful accommodation with visitors such as yourself. We love we can be so close to nature yet walk and enjoy an early morning coffee at our favourite coffee shop, spend an afternoon on the deck of our favourite pub or dine at a top end restaurant. Or sit by the creek and enjoy the sound of the water moving by! Walking on the paths surrounding the town are just steps away.

What makes this property unique

We love that the many windows in the home, allowing us to view the expansiveness of the mountains. The detailed workmanship and love that went into building this home, we consider our honour to maintain.
