Your host

I'm a local expert, and I like to help you discover this beautiful place.
I’ll provide all the insider tips for the best places to visit, the most beautiful beaches, and the top traditional tavernas where you can enjoy the most delicious Cycladic cuisine.
Every year, I keep up with all the new restaurants, cafés, and attractions, ensuring that you experience the best of Paros, including its evolving art and culture scene.
I understand that people on vacation often don’t have much time to truly get to know the place they are visiting, so they need guidance.
I love helping people discover the island because I want them to have the right, authentic experience of this amazing place.
More than just a destination, I want their time here to be filled with beautiful moments and meaningful experiences that they can carry with them—memories that will stay with them long after their trip, bringing a smile to their faces during their everyday life, whether at work or at home.

Why they chose this property
I chose this location because, in my opinion, Parikia is the most authentic village in all of Paros. This is where life thrives all year round, unlike other areas that are mainly seasonal holiday destinations. Once the summer ends, those places shut down and feel like empty shells, whereas here in Parikia, you can come any time of the year, and it remains lively and beautiful even in the off-season. You’ll always find locals, open supermarkets, working people, and everyday life continuing as usual.
Another reason I chose Parikia is its central location—it is equidistant from all the main destinations on the island. It sits halfway between Naoussa, Aliki, Antiparos, and Lefkes, making it easy to explore without long drives from one extreme of the island to the other. No matter where you go, the travel time is more or less the same.
For all these reasons, many locals live here year-round, and you can still breathe in the authentic atmosphere that has somewhat faded in other villages. Parikia is also the heart of the island’s cultural and religious traditions, hosting the main celebrations for Easter, Christmas, and other important events.
The historic center of Parikia is truly the beating heart of the island, and I believe it’s the best place to experience the real essence of Paros.

What makes this property unique
My house is unique because, first of all, it’s the home where I lived with my family, and it holds the memories of our life together. It is also a traditional stone house in the historic part of Parikia, built on three levels. Though small, every space has been maximized and cleverly designed, making it feel almost like living on a boat in some ways.
When renovating, we worked closely with an architect to preserve the Cycladic spirit of the house, respecting its original character. We kept traditional features, such as the old wooden doors with a unique latch system instead of modern handles, and the staircases with handcrafted finishes that reflect the island’s traditional architecture.
At the same time, the interior design is minimalist, staying true to Cycladic aesthetics—simple, functional, and in harmony with the island’s authentic charm.
