About this property

Eclectic Edition 2 bedroom Historic Farmhouse circa 1885 No Ghosts Serene Vale

This delightful farmhouse in Vale is the perfect retreat for guests looking to unwind and recharge. With 2 cozy bedrooms featuring a king and queen bed, a relaxing bathtub in the bathroom, and essential amenities like WiFi, Gas Fire places and AC, this historic property has everything you need for a soothing peaceful frolicking stay. Kickback, relax, and enjoy the
"Post Card" views of Vale's farming community. Tall Oaks Historic Farmhouse was built in circa 1885 and one of the oldest homes in NC. After 5 years of restoration the pasture gate is open to family new friends and mystic vibrations. Located on 5 acres of towering "Live" Spanish white oaks, water oaks, pin oaks, red oaks and ancient mulberry trees surround the compound and enlighten your senses to something special. The Scronce family was one of the first settlers here in Lincolnton county digging the first well around 1885. Pulling in off of Hog Hill Rd (Yes we have hogs on the hill) through the private pasture gate your engulfed in ancient oak trees with flashes of color, a tapestry of shade and sunlight mixed in with the breeze from where no one knows where it came from nor knows where it goes.

Solitude

Peaceful and calm. Would definitely stay again. Private rejuvenation retreat, Even when it rains your eyes can feast the past for hours. The exquisite sound of the screen doors as they make their way to the snap of a close. Nostalgic, the kind that opens doors and gets banana pudding made at 1030pm ending with a sit in the porch. The history alone is worth the stay. Can’t wait to see what they do next!.
