Girls' weekend

The location was excellent. The town of Summerland had wonderful food and shopping experiences. We all loved the little market and Godmother's bookstore. The location was a short drive to the wharf and beaches. Highly recommend a stay at this cute cottage.

Amazingly comfortable place in a great location

I was with friends a few nights then on my own with family nearby. It was comfortable and fun with the three of us, but it was also a place where I felt very safe and comfortable by myself. I especially loved the fireplace and just the ambience of the house. Summerland is a unique town and a very easy drive to Santa Barbara.

Ultimate Relaxation Reset

We looooved our stay here. The cottage was so lovely and was well prepared/stocked. Walking distance to the coffee shop, breakfast places, etc. and close enough drive to downtown Santa Barbara. I loved that there was a gas stove, oven, and air fryer that made cooking so easy. The cottage itself has incredible views, huge windows that look out over the water. It definitely got cold at night but we used the space heaters and got cozy with the wood burning fireplace. My small group came here on a retreat and it was the perfect vibes. The backyard was lovely to hang out in and in the evenings we lit a fire and hung out in the living area playing games! We will absolutely be back!

Why they chose this property

Summerland Beach is one of the most beautiful and quietest beaches in the Santa Barbara area, and just above it sits Lookout Park, featuring picnic areas, lawns, beach volleyball, and landscaped trails. On your way to the beach, you’ll pass the quiet and family-friendly town of Summerland, where you’ll find sun and smiles.

What makes this property unique

Jaya wants to share his childhood home with others because it holds a timeless charm that evokes peace and inspiration. Nestled in the quaint seaside town of Summerland, the property, built in 1910, carries the rustic allure of a bygone era while embracing the laid-back, eclectic spirit of a boho beach retreat. A wood stove in the living room provides heat on a cold winter's day. Weathered wood accents, sunlit interiors, and breezy spaces create a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Each detail of the home whispers stories of the past, yet its soulful design invites guests to create new memories. Adding to its unique charm, a bowl of crystals rests on the bookcase, offering a touch of healing energy. Guests are encouraged to take a crystal with them, spreading the home's uplifting spirit and tranquility to their corner of the world. For Jaya, opening the doors of this unique haven is a way to share the warmth, beauty, and positive energy that have always made it special.
