A three-room flat, quiet area, next to Vincennes wood and castle 55m²

Our flat is located in a charming and quiet area: the Bois de Vincennes, a beautiful park where you can go for walks or cycle rides, is at the end of the street; the Château de Vincennes, an outstanding and wonderfully preserved medieval castle, is two minutes away. All sorts of boutiques, excellent inexpensive restaurants and a cinema are only a few meters away. Metro line 1 (20 mns direct to the center of Paris, 15mns to Bastille Opera) , taxis, buses are just around the corner . The RER (fast metro line) will take you to the center of Paris in about 10 mins, or to Disneyland-Paris, Versailles etc
There is a lift in the building and the flat (55m²) is very carefully decorated : it has a bedroom with a queen-size bed ( 160/200cm), a large living-room with a convertible sofabed, a shower and separate toilets, a fully equipped kitchen (washing-machine).
Sheets, towels, washing-powder are included, and you will find all the basic items : tea, coffee, sugar, pasta, oil, vinegar...

Lovely Parisian apartment

We loved staying here. It has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our host made us feel welcome. The neighborhood is beautiful with a woods just feet away. Plenty of cafes and shopping nearby. The Metro line 1 was close by for easy access to central Paris. Highly recommend this apartment and look forward to going back.

Cozy apartment and excellent location

Very cozy and spacious apartment equipped with everything you need for holiday stay. Internet connection is fast. The local shopping district nearby is lovely and convenient for daily grocery shopping too. The forest is so close and it shall be amazing in Summer. Thanks for the hospitality of apartment owner, she prepared so many things for us. We would love to stay here again if coming to Paris next time.

The Perfect Home Away from Home!

This flat was the most perfect home for us during our week visit to France! Conveniently located down the street from the Metro, it provides quick and easy access into Paris and the surrounding areas. Nearby there are numerous restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The flat itself was equipped with everything one would need during their stay - pots and pans, dishes, silverware, laundry supplies, cooking basics, etc. The list is never ending of what the owners supply. And speaking of the owners - we can't speak more highly of Patricia and her husband. We were in communication with Patricia prior to arrival, they met us upon arrival, and again met us when we were departing. They were a constant resource for us before and during our trip, even allowing us into their own home so we could print documents needed for our return to the States. They are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, and we are ever grateful to have met them. We can't recommend this flat enough and it made all the difference during our trip! We are excited to one day return and encourage everyone we know to stay here when visiting Paris.

Pleasant place Aangenaam appartement

From 28-12-2018 till 04-01-2019 I, 68 year old mother, spent a week at this appartment, together with my son, 25 year old. My questions before arrival were all answered patiently, properly and politely by the very kind owner. The appartment is exactly as described and pictured. It fulfills all the requirements one can have. Important things to me are: cleanliness, good accessibility-there is a lift-, approximity to public transport, hospitality. All perfect.

A truly wonderful stay

Well - what to say ? This lovely apartment is just perfect. Quiet, sunny, brilliant location. Supremely comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. I regularly found myself thinking ‘ I wonder if there is a [insert useful gizmo or utensil] and opening a cupboard or drawer to find the very thing! You can be in, for instance, the Marais in about 15 mins by metro, or you can use the RER to head into Paris, or further out to explore the Val de Marne. All the shops and services you need are on your doorstep - not to mention the superb Bois de Vincennes. We felt very safe walking around at any time . Patricia and Phillippe ready to help should you need it, but never a peep if you don’t . In short - A GEM !

Perfect base for exploring Paris!

Patsy is a brilliant host and welcomed us to the clean flat and showed us everything we need to know about the area and Paris in general! If you are looking to explore Paris then this is a great base as it's right next to the Metro. Vincennes was also a little gem with an amazing castle and some lovely walks around the woods and a very nice shopping centre. I couldn't recommend this place enough so be sure to book early otherwise you might miss out on this perfectly situated gem!

Appartement élégant et accueillant

Appartement de style haussmanien élégant, accueillant, très propre et très bien équipé. la literie est confortable et les produits de première nécessité sont mis à disposition. Il est idéalement situé à proximité immédiate du métro, du bois et à 5mn de l'hypercentre de Vincennes. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins, très soucieux de la qualité de notre séjour. Nous recommandons cet appartement et nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.

Perfect apartment and location

This was our second year staying at this lovely Vincennes apartment. It is very close to Bois de Vincennes and a 14 minute Metro ride to Hotel de Ville. You take line 1 on the Metro which starts in Vincennes so you always get a seat! Also very near the RER station. The apartment is spotless and very well equipped . The washing machine was especially helpful and you can quickly dry your clothes in front of a large window. The apartment is very quiet. Last but not least the hosts Patricia and Philippe were very nice and very helpful. We were there for 7 wonderful weeks and hope to do the same next year.

Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables dans cet appartement accueillant. Nous nous sentions totalement "chez nous". Patricia et son mari sont charmants. Appartement très bien équipé, à 2 pas du métro, du château de Vincennes, du bois et des commerces, dans un immeuble très bien entretenu. Idéal pour visiter Paris, pour aller se promener dans le parc floral de Vincennes, le château est très curieux avec son donjon récemment restauré. On est à 15 minutes de l'Hotel de Ville de Paris en métro. Nous avons testé quelques restaurants sympathiques à Vincennes. Trois fois par semaines le marché en plein air satisferont les gourmands. A wonderful vacation

Having stayed in this wonderful flat before, we knew that it offers everything you could possibly need, a real home from home. On arrival we were welcomed by the owner who is so lovely and sincere and makes you feel so welcome and in addition, speaks excellent English. Very much looking forward to returning next year.

La estadía fue maravillosa. El departamento tiene todo lo que se necesite, en perfectas condiciones y limpio. Es muy luminoso, todos los ambientes tienen ventanas y desde algunas se ve parte del parque. Y con muy buena calefacción. Está a 50 mts. del metro y del castillo de Vincennes. Además a dos calles del centro, lo que lo hace tranquilo y a la vez con muchas tiendas y bares y restaurantes para elegir. La atención de la dueña fue encantadora!

Alojamiento ideal

Nuestra estadía en Vincennes resultó excelente. La ciudad es muy bonita y acogedora, a escasos 15 minutos del centro de París, con todo lo necesario en cuanto a comercios y servicios. El mercado, que se celebra tres veces por semana es fascinante. El apartamento se encuentra en una situación privilegiada, a unos pocos metros del bosque y de la entrada del Metro. En el interior del apartamento, de generosas dimensiones y decorado con mucho gusto, todo son facilidades. La dueña ha pensado en todos los detalles, de manera que nos fue muy fácil movernos dentro y fuera de la casa gracias a la exhaustiva información disponible. La cocina cómoda y con todo lo necesario, nos permitió sentirnos como en casa. Patricia es una persona muy amable y dispuesta a facilitar la estadía de sus huéspedes. Sin ninguna duda volvería a alojarme aquí y, si fuera posible, por un tiempo un poco más prolongado, ya que los 6 días que estuvimos se pasaron volando. Muchas gracias a la propietaria y, sin dudarlo un instante, lo recomiendo como alojamiento, no los defraudará. Gracias por todo Patricia.

A highly recommended place for a memorable stay

We have just have a wonderful week in this apartment. The location was perfect: 5 minutes'walk from the metro station with Paris easily accessible (15 minutes). Furthermore all the shops and restaurants were on our doorstep and the vicinity of the wood where one could go for a long walk was an added bonus. Vincennes is a highly civilised and attractive outer suburb with excellent amenities. The apartment was very well appointed, bright and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was always such a pleasant retreat after a busy day in Paris. The owners who are most friendly obviously have the well being of their guests in mind as the apartment lacked nothing. On our arrival beside a bottle of wine, we found lots of basics such as oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, jam etc..... Most appreciated particularly when you arrive late on a Saturday night. I would strongly recommend this apartment.

Excellent Stay in Vincennes

Overall, I'd highly recommend the property. The apartment is quite comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is modern and recently redone with very nice appliances. The bathroom is small, but functional. The owners are exceptionally friendly and showed great hospitality. They have it stocked with plenty of pots/pans/dishes/etc as well as some food basics like salt/sugar/coffee/tea/etc. The location is the other exceptional thing, within a few minutes walk of the Metro, many shops, bars, and restaurants, plus under ten minutes to the RER. I was driving most days and could usually even find a parking spot near the apartment most evenings. No complaints and many good things!

A great place to stay

Staying in this light-filled, comfortable and well-located flat in Vincennes greatly enhanced our visit to Paris. As others have noted, Patricia was unfailingly responsive and helpful, a pleasure to deal with, both by email and in person. Staying in Vincennes gave us a chance to experience daily life in a charming suburban community, one with easy Metro access. We arrived on a Sunday and recovered from our flight with a long walk through the Bois de Vincennes, where picnicking in the tall grass was clearly the order of the day. We noted the Monoprix store (groceries and much more) as we exited the RER station from the airport, but we bought most of our groceries at the thrice-weekly outdoor market a five minute walk from the flat. Despite our minimal French, it was easy to buy from vendors, thanks to sign language and printed receipts. We bought our daily bread from one of three nearby boulangeries and found good values at the wine store. We loved coming back at the end of a long day of sightseeing and large lunches to a quiet street and a simple supper made with superb ingredients--flavorful tomatoes, plump mussels, incredible strawberries. My third trip to Paris was the best by far because of this flat in Vincennes.

Beautiful Vincennes

We spent a wonderful week here during the summer. The flat is ideally located for visits to central Paris, Versailles and Disneyland Paris. The flat is located on a lovely quiet little street and the metro station (Château de Vincennes) is just around the corner. The Vincennes RER stop for trains to Disneyland Paris is a short walk away. We were met by the owner's daughter who showed us around the flat. On our departure day she kindly bought us a bag of pastries which were much appreciated by our daughter - merci beaucoup! The flat is really lovely and very comfortable. Patricia, the owner, has thought of everything, even down to the umbrellas in the hallway cupboard - thankfully they were never needed! The are lovely markets in Vincennes and our daughter was amazed by the choice of fruit and vegetables. We bought baguettes and croissants from a lovely bakery on Rue de Fontenay and there is a well stocked supermarket (Monoprix) on Rue du Midi - all within walking distance. A visit to the Parc Floral in Vincennes is a must, especially with children. Our daughter was overwhelmed by the number of playgrounds there. The Donjon (Keep) of the Château de Vincennes is well worth a visit. And for an evening meal, go to La Table des Troys on Av. de Paris, a few minutes from the flat, the service was impeccable and the food amazing. We would love to return someday to this wonderful flat and to beautiful Vincennes.

A wonderful property, which proved a real home fro

This property proved an ideal location for our holiday. It was located in a very quiet road and yet was within a stones throw away from Vincennes beautiful park as well as its metro station. The flat was very clean and had every facility one could possibly need. The owners greeted us on arrival and were incredibly courteous, polite and very helpful and were only too pleased to answer any questions we had for them. We would certainly recommend this property to everyone as we believe it is wonderful value for money. We will definately be returning to this lovely flat and cannot wait for our next visit.

A beautiful apartment

The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Patricia, the owner is very helpful, meeting you at the apartment to explain everything about the area and the accommodation. The apartment is comfortable, very clean, light and airy. We shopped locally for food and cooked at the apartment, as the kitchen has every form of utensil you could need! We bought a five day metro ticket, and used it to travel conveniently in and out of Paris, as the metro station is so close to the apartment. The Bois de Vincennes, with rowing and cycle hire is very close to the apartment and the Parc Floral, with it's beautiful gardens is a short walk away.
