Pathetic experience
(1) As soon as we arrived, it was obvious that the property has not been cleaned in quite some time. The floor was dirty and sticky throughout. The counter and table top surfaces were dirty throughout. The property smelled of stale smoke throughout. The bathrooms were only partially cleaned, including dirty toilets and human hair left behind. The den rug was covered in beach sand. We found a full slice of old cheese under the main coffee table, and one of the kids found a slightly-used cigar in their bedroom. It was the single dirtiest rental experience I have ever walked into.(2) There were several key features that simply DID NOT work. Most importantly, the internet was down the entire weekend. The router was intermittent in powering on, and even when it was active there was no internet connectivity. That meant there was no wifi or TV, contrary to the promised amenities. Additionally, the front door would not lock from the outside, so anytime we left the property, we were forced to leave it unlocked. The refrigerator water/ice dispenser did not function at all. And there was also no instruction to be found regarding the parking passes for the parking area.This was truly disappointing, and the "Vacasa" property management group utterly failed us. I reached out to them by phone/text many multiple times to get help with the internet, and was given the run-around before ultimately no one contacted me back and no one showed up to fix the problems.
