beautiful stay

Beautiful property that was nice, clean, and cozy! We had a good time staying here for our ski trip to Sugarbush. If we're ever in the area again, we would choose this place!

Greetings! My name is Neil, and I'm 56 years old. I've been a self-employed home health aide and caregiver for 23 years now. My journey began with an animal rescue group before I found my calling in caregiving. This house holds a lot of special memories for me since I grew up here. At the moment, I'm residing in the historic homestead next door, built in 1875 and once owned by my great-grandparents, alongside my partner of 13 years.

Why they chose this property

This delightful split-level ranch, constructed by my father in 1970, is situated in a small, friendly town that has a Mayberry-like charm. It’s nestled in a valley between two mountains, providing a tranquil setting with minimal road noise.

Hancock is the perfect entry point to the breathtaking Green Mountain National Forest, known for its natural beauty and diverse recreational opportunities. Whether you’re into hiking, fishing, skiing (downhill or cross-country), snowshoeing, swimming, tubing, or more, there’s something for everyone.

Hancock Haven is bright and airy, thanks to an 8-foot picture window in the living room. The open layout allows for easy conversation no matter where you are in the house. Oh did I mention, there’s also a sliding glass door that leads to a spacious 20-foot deck.

So come, kick back, play, and stay a while!
