Beautiful Large Home - Across Street from Private Beach Access- Private Pool

At Crystal Clear Retreat you will be right at home.

This beautiful beach oasis, has a private pool, wraparound porch and second and third floor decks. Located directly across from the Gulf, this spacious home is ideal for large families.

The bunk room is perfect for smaller kids (1 triple bunk and queen bed sleeps 5), and teens will love the third floor loft with daybed and trundle, refrigerator and sink.

The large back patio, with a nice "heat available" private pool with lights, outdoor shower, and grill, makes it the perfect place to gather in the afternoon!

The main floor is an open floor plan with ample space for everyone. We know you will also love the large 60` TV with cable TV with many channels.

Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor...one with a king bed and the other with a queen and 1 set of twin over full bunks.

The 2nd floor has the huge Master suite with king bed. The other bedroom also has a king bed. Both bedrooms are full of light and access to private balconies. The Bathrooms have super nice looks and exclusive appeal.

The kitchen has been completely remodeled with high-end appliances, and the downstairs bathrooms have just been completely remodeled and are beautiful.

The location is right across main road 98, with a private walkway and shower leading to a huge sandy Beach. The pictures don't do it justice.

The place is a palace close to the beach!

The Perfect House

This is our second year staying in this house and it was exactly as we remembered. The house is beautifully decorated and has every accommodation a family could need. We had 10 people, 3 families, and never once felt crowded. With having kids between 4-10 yo, the 1 minute walk to the beach is ideal. We will definitelystay again next year 😍

Home Away From Home

Crystal Clear Beach House was just what we need to relax and have some quality family time. The house and pool were amazing and we felt like we were at home. Thank you to the property owners for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Beach Haven

Wonderful stay at Crystal Clear for an extended family vacation. The set up of the house was perfect for our three families with everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The house is just across the street from private beach access which was much less crowded than surrounding areas. The house came equipped with a helpful beach cart and plenty of beach chairs (in good shape) for the adults in the party. There were also two beach umbrellas, which made packing much easier. The kitchen was updated beautifully and well stocked with everything we needed. Lots of natural light. I was a little worried about how warm it would be on the third level where my oldest daughter slept, but the A/C kept the house cooled throughout, even in the Florida heat. The pool at night is gorgeous with different light settings. The younger kids in our party really loved that. Hope to return to this property or another one with the same owner. Jon was great with communication and making sure we had what we needed. He takes great pride the property.

Excellent Place to Stay

We have been coming to Destin over 15 years. This was the best place we have ever stayed at. Great access to Beach and town. Owners, property managers, etc were great to work with. I would highly recommend this vacation home! Also, it was very clean!

Wonderful Spring Break March 2024

We stayed the last weekend of March. It was absolutely beautiful. We had 4 kids between the ages of 9-17 and 6 adults. The location was perfect!! We loved the private beach access, crossing the road was never an issue and cars always stopped for us. When we were done with the beach, the pool satisfied the kids. We had the pool heated and it was perfect for a group from Wisconsin. We enjoyed walking to nearby coffee shops, the path for morning jogs, and nearby restaurants. The Crab Shack was awesome. I would recommend this house to my closest friends and family.

Family Spring Break 2024

Our first visit to Destin and this beautiful home exceeded our expectations! Located directly across from the pristine, private beach, it was spotless, well maintained, and equipped with every imaginable amenity and perfectly heated pool! Exceptional, timely communication with the property mgr throughout our stay. Our family of 6 adults enjoyed pleasant weather, amazing restaurants and a sunset cruise. Will definitely return and stay at this perfect home!

Great Property to Stay with Family

This is our second time staying at this location, and we will stay here again. Proximity to the beach is excellent, and we chose to heat the pool (Oct. stay), which gave us another place to be in the water. The french doors are a bit difficult to lock, and the upstairs master bathtub does not hold water, which had not been fixed either year we stayed. Otherwise - it's a great space and place to vacation.

Crystal Clear is a great family beach house!

Crystal Clear was a great choice for our family. We found most everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach. There were enough beach toys, chairs and umbrellas for the whole gang. And the beach access directly across the street was great!

Beautiful home, but…

Your home is absolutely gorgeous but we were extremely concerned about the French doors not locking. They’re missing the piece that screwed down into the floor in the middle. If you pull from the outside the doors break open. My 4 year old pushed on the door from the inside and they opened (with it “locked”) We went out and bought a bike lock just so we felt safe at night and so our littles couldn’t get out. It was also a bummer that the master bedroom’s tub, the plug didn’t work. Other than that, the home was lovely. Great views and ideal location to the beach. Would definitely recommend to others if the locking of the doors was fixed.

Family vacation

Great location to beach easy access.house works well wirh large families.Had lots of usefull items for beach. Only small problems was refridgerator did not produce enough ice for large family. 2nd floor bathroom sink had no water preasure at all. I would rent again.

Perfect rental for families

This house was everything we expected & more. The pool/patio was the perfect size to keep an eye on the little ones & extremely clean. Inside the house was was clean and properly stocked to make any and all meals. We really appreciated the access to private beach across the street along with all the beach gear you could need for the entire family. If we visit Destin again we will be staying at this home again!

Very nice home and location

Nice roomy home across the street from an older beach front motel. Easy beach access. Included beach chairs, umbrellas and beach cart were a plus. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious for our 4 adults and 3 children. Could easily hold 13. Nice but smaller pool. We did have issues with the BBQ grill, pool heat and pool cleanliness during our stay. The first two issues were remedied but not until the last day of our stay. Overall a beautiful home and location. Don’t expect a view of the gulf due to the 2 story motel and homes across the street.

3 Generation Family Vacation

We rented this house for 3 generations to share a vacation together. The accommodations were perfect for us, smelled and looked very clean, perfect overall layout and size for 9 people, separate bedrooms to give each family space and areas we could share together. It was nice to cookout and enjoy cocktails while the kids swam in the lighted/heated pool, dining area allowed us to dine and to do beach crafts together, excellent cooking pans and dishes to cook & serve meals together, loved the front porch to play cards on the bar table and chairs and the rocking chairs for morning coffee, beach chairs - umbrella - toys to use at the beach which was across the street with access between 2 hotels, loft was a great place for the kids to hang out, DVDs and books to use (we didn’t use but they were there), all around GREAT place to stay! However, it was advertised as a gulf view from the porch. We could only possibly see water from the 3rd floor balcony if we looked off to the right over the peak of the roof… but not a gulf view. That was disappointing as I paid the enormous rate I did because I thought we could sit on the porch to watch the waves, and we couldn’t. The photographer for the home made all of the spaces and the pool seem much bigger than they actually are.. we had 9 people, it would be tight with 12. We had trouble with the pool heater, when I called, someone came immediately to resolve it! There were other repairs needed, but I think the owners were likely not made aware of them in order to fix them. I will email them the list.

Beautiful Destin

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was very nice and comfortable. It was very clean and had everything you would want or need. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was so pretty.. My granddaughters ages 11 and 9, slept up in the loft on the third floor and referred to it as their apartment. We had the pool heated as it can still be cool in February. I got up one morning and it was 49 degrees out. That didn’t stop the girls from swimming! A favorite part of this property for me was sitting on the front porch with my coffee and letting the sun just beat on me. The beach was just across the street and was absolutely beautiful. We throughly enjoyed our time at this property.

A great stay!

We had a great family vacation at this beach house! The house was set up perfectly for our family of 11. We had toddlers and a baby and had all the amenities we needed. Such easy private access to the beach, right across the street! The busy scenic highway was easy to cross with small children; traffic typically stopped for us, making it safe! The only problem we came across was during the first two days we got there it was raining and there was leaking of the roof in two different places in the master suite. Also there was standing water on several of the balconies and they couldn’t be used when raining. We contacted management and made them aware. Other than that we highly recommend this beach house! Great location and it is beautifully decorated!

The property was updated in 2023 and 2024 with new siding and wonderful touches added. It's in a great location, just 50 yards from the beach. The property features great bedding, a spacious living room, and a large master bedroom, making it an excellent choice for families or groups of friends.

Why they chose this property

Just fell in love with the place and great for our growing family with our married daughter and three grandchildren. Two sons also love it. So close to the beach and everything else in Destin.
