About this property
Masterpiece Straight out of Architectural Digest!
Summary:
Worth the Wait Ranch is a relic of AZ history that lives like a modern resort. This ranch was built in 1918, making it the oldest home in N. Phoenix. Then, in 2021 it was transformed by renowned designer, Anthony W Design, into his personal sanctuary. This architectural masterpiece sits on 1.3 acres, has a huge backyard & endless amenities (ie indoor Pickle Ball!). The separate pool area is shared with a Casita (available to rent separately) & has a mini golf course, fire pit, billiards & more!
The Space:
3D virtual tour is available upon request!
*NEW- We added a Peloton Treadmill & Bike to the game room. We also have a 8x10 floor exercise pad, full set of dumbbells and more!
Bedrooms 1 & 2 are a "dual-suite," meaning they are technically 2 bedrooms in one. There are 2 separate sleeping quarters (both with King size beds) that share a large bathroom and living room (with a TV). This suite is perfect for a family or maybe a couple who prefer separate beds. The suite also features a bidet and a private outdoor tub and shower. The secondary room has an additional sink, vanity, closet, and a full bookshelf! Note- the shared bathroom is an open-concept, however the toilet room has a door and the shower has a privacy screen.
Bedroom 3 has bunk beds with a Queen on the bottom and a Twin XL on top, and an ensuite bathroom.
Bedroom 4 has bunk beds with a Queen on the bottom and a Twin XL on top, and a Jack & Jill bathroom shared with bedroom 5. This bedroom has a changing table and the bathroom has a tub, making it the ideal room for a family with a baby.
Bedroom 5 has bunk beds with a Queen on the bottom and a Twin XL on top, and a Jack & Jill bathroom shared with bedroom 4. This bedroom can also be used as a game room as it has a large area that can open up to the kitchen and has its own living room, ping pong table, and TV.
Bedroom 6 is a mother-in-law suite that has a King bed, bathroom (with Bidet), dining table, TV, kitchenette and a private entrance into the garage.
There are 3 additional air mattresses with bedding available.
The Living Room has a huge built in leather sectional and an 85” TV.
The separate Family Room has another huge sectional that sits in front of a wall of glass.
The Dining Table is 13 feet long and sits in front of a wall of glass that opens up to the backyard. The table sits 14, and there is also a separate kitchen table that seats another 4.
The outdoor kitchen has a 36” charcoal grill, beverage fridge, sink, and a 6 foot dining table.
The private backyard is large, almost entirely grass and perfect for Bocci Ball or Cornhole.
Beyond the private backyard is the Pool area. This area is shared with one guest house that is built on the other side of the property (available to rent separately). It features a miniature golf course, fire pit, outdoor living room, outdoor dining, and outdoor billiards table. All of this sits under a canopy of lights making functional all the time.
The Garage is a finished space (soon to get AC) with 24 foot ceilings and a canopy of lights making it perfect for events. There is also Pickle Ball net (there aren’t any lines as it is not quite long enough to be a full size court). There is no parking in the garage without prior approval.
The Neighborhood:
Worth the Wait Ranch is located in Robinhood Acres, a quiet neighborhood in North Phoenix. It's only 1 minute from the 51 freeway, which cuts Phoenix in half, connecting to all other major freeways, making it easy to get anywhere in town. There is also a large park just around the corner and plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area.
Getting Around:
Our location in North Phoenix is perfectly central, offering easy access to everything the city has to offer. With the SR-51 nearby, you’re just 20 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, 20 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale, 20 minutes from Downtown Phoenix, and 10 minutes from Desert Ridge Marketplace. Love nature? Reach Camelback Mountain or Piestewa Peak for hiking adventures in under 15 minutes. Looking for family fun? The Phoenix Zoo and Desert Botanical Garden are only a 20-minute drive. Whether you’re here to explore, relax, or connect, you’ll find yourself at the heart of it all!
Other Things to Note:
Please contact prior to booking for any events, gatherings or commercial use, as additional fees apply.
The Pool is heated with a solar system so the temperature is not adjustable but the water temperate is typically 5-10 degrees warmer than a non-heated pool. But there's no heating fee!
There is a landscaping company that also uses the parking lot. They pick up their trucks every morning, and return them in the afternoon, so you may see them coming and going.
Landscapers typically perform lawn care on the entire property on Tuesday mornings around 7:30AM, however this is subject to change. Please contact prior to booking for confirmation if this is a concern.
Interaction with Guests:
Keep in mind, this property is huge. Beyond the rentable casita (TeeBox), there are 2 additional casitas and the owner lives in one of them. There is a large parking lot that services all areas of the property, but each space is completely enclosed ensuring privacy for all guests.
