About this property

Have fun with the whole family at our modern cottage near the beach. Walking distance to the beach, our dog friendly space boasts comforts for everyone. This modern cottage was designed for a large family or for two families to share. 3 bedroom, 2 bath including a bunk room for the kids and a mudroom with built in kennels and a dog bath.
The backyard has a large ground level deck with two BBQs, seating and dining spaces as well as a fire pit area with plenty of seating.

A modern space in the woods. Quiet and cozy, this Scandinavian design inspired cabin has a touch of mid century and all the modern amenities you need when away from home.

Other things to note
Our space is dog friendly. We have built-in kennels and a dog bath located in the mudroom/laundry room. Please no cats.

Our yard is fully landscaped with natural mulch safe for dogs and kids.

Please keep your dog leashed/under control. Read local signs for pet friendly areas.

Charcoal and Propane provided for BBQs

Wood stove for added warmth and coziness in the cooler months.

About the host

We reside in a small community south of Winnipeg and love to visit the East Beaches of Lake Winnipeg. We enjoy the summer time for relaxing on the beach and hosting friends and family, and golfing nearby. Fall is great for Bird Hunting and exploring the trails. Winter has us out on the Ice searching for Greenbacks! And spring weekends are a nice way to unwind as Mother Nature blooms after her long winter hibernation.
We love to share our cabin so others can experience things for themselves.

Why they chose this property

The Cabin is set in a quiet, sparsely developed block of wooded lots. 5 minute walk to a public beach and a mere 7 minute drive to Grand Beach. Close to the Trans Canada trail that will take you to Grand Marais by foot or bike. the TransCanada Trail connects you to other public beaches. It is great for hiking and biking.
and Ice Hut is provided for those wanting to venture onto the ice to fish for walleye and other species our Great Lake has to offer.

We designed and built the cabin ourselves. we designed it for ease of accessibility, speak modern design, functionality with larger groups and a way to connect with nature.
