About this property

Creature's Retreat - a northern Wisconsin cabin in Price County

Come to the Northwoods and enjoy the serenity it has to offer and stay in a relaxing atmosphere. This retreat is just what you always dreamed of. It is fully furnished in an outdoor theme. It will sleep six to eight comfortably with two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each and a loft with 2 double beds.

You can relax and enjoy the view of two ponds and the wildlife that wander through. There are woods roads for hiking or skiing. The road the cabin is located on is open to ATVs and snowmobiles, and it is connected to the snowmobile trail half mile away. The cabin is located within three miles of Price County Forest Land and ten miles from the Chequamegon National Forest.

Pets are welcome but they must be in your immediate contact. No pets on furniture of beds. If you leave cabin, pets must be kenneled or outside. No pets are to be locked in rooms. Do not let your pets do their business near cabin. Take them in the lawn or woods. Please clean up poop in the lawn. Please make sure pets do not do their business inside cabin.
There will be a pet charge of $45/per pet/per stay.

Also fire pit and free wood for campfires.

The base rate is $90/night for 1-2 people. Additional guests are $20/person/night

Perfect weekend getaway

Nice and quiet stay. Had great game night with the games that had been supplied. Beautiful surrounding the property. Couple of neat things seeing an owl up close and petsonal and hearing the roosters in the morning

Great for our pups!

Loved that the place was tucked in away from the road and didn’t have to worry about our dogs as they could roam around! Lots of things to do around the area! We checked out Fred Smith concrete statues and dogs joined us! Also went into Phillips and did a nice walk along the lake. Checked out and highly recommend Timm’s Hill County park and found the most amazing hiking trails! We also then took a drive to Sackett lake beach and took the pups swimming. Was a great vacation with the dogs!

Weekend get away

Cute little cottage in a very nice, serene setting. It’s also pet friendly which we greatly appreciated. It looks like some nice trails on the property but the mosquitoes were pretty awful when we were there, so were not able to check them out. If you are summer guests bring the skeeter spray. But the property is beautiful!

The north-woods cabin

The cabin is very beautiful the surroundings are amazing.The only suggestion is the cabin smelled like mold it wasn't clean needs a good cleaning and some updates on it and this cabin would be perfect.Its very peaceful very quite area lots of forests surrounding the area with ponds.Beautiful gazebo ,well we never got to use it -it was very cold when we went would of loved to use it snowed almost everyday we were there loved watching it snow just beautiful❤️ it

Quiet and Relaxing

Quiet and relaxing cabin nestled in Northern WI. My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful weekend along with our dog Archer. We tend to find a place where it is quiet, nice hiking trails nearby and we can kick back and watch movies and play games and this was a perfect spot.

Cozy Cabin

Cozy little cabin tucked away in the country. We stayed for a few days over New Years. The location is rural and secluded. The cabin was clean and well maintained.

Amazing getaway

My husband and I stayed two nights here as a mini weekend getaway. It was quiet and peaceful and we will definitely be going back to stay again. The hosts were prompt when we ran out of LP and very nice people. The area is beautiful to just sit outside and take it all in!

Peaceful paradise.

Creatures Retreat was better than we expected. Very peaceful and all the amenities and comforts of home. You can see the owners residence but is quite a distance from the cabin. The owners we saw in passing and were very personable.

Not as expected

Overall I felt uncomfortable and grossed out while staying in this cabin. The water was milky white and had an oily texture. When we brought this to the owners attention he said and I quote " I really don't know what to tell you." The bed sheets were gross and had stains and smelled so I had to buy my own. The only nice thing about this cabin was the view outside other than that everything was either dirty or smelled bad. The place is very out dated and could use a lot of deep cleaning. Another gross factor was the bar of used soap in the shower. This cabin is also located in eye view of the owners home so that was pretty uncomfortable for me and my family as well, the doors didnt have a curtain on the window so you could see striaght into the cabin and the front door is directly in eye view of the bathroom so anyone could see you naked or in a towel after a shower (pretty much violating our privacy). My advice is bring paper plates and plastic silverwear as well as your own sheets and blankets.
