Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We liked having plenty of space both in the house and in the nice private backyard. Outside areas were very well-maintained. We also enjoyed having the two bathrooms.
The neighborhood was well kept and especially quiet.
Communication with the property manager, Baylee, was excellent as her texts were complete and very thorough.
The location was a reasonable distance from our family and was perfect for our needs with an HEB grocery within minutes of the house for all of our food supplies.
We were, however, very unfamiliar with the Roku app for the television so found it extremely difficult to find the channels that we wanted, a problem we'd also had at another Vrbo rental in Alabama. Perhaps a more complete explanation of how to use it would help?
We ran out of hand soap for the the master bathroom so bought some liquid soap of our own. Owner had indicated that there was extra soap in both bathroom closets but we could only find body lotions and shampoos, not hand soap. We also missed having a bath mat to use with the master bathroom shower.
Overall, we really liked this house and were glad that we'd chosen it for our week's stay in Cedar Park.
We were staying between houses as part of a love and found the property to be quite comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the AC worked great. This was very important when the heat index outside was 120 F.
The house was exactly as described, and the communication from the owner was awesome. The only thing missing were the chairs for the fire pit - but it was honestly too chilly to worry about. I’m sure if I would have asked, the issue would have been resolved! Would highly recommend staying there - for the home and the location! 5 stars!
We truly enjoyed staying. The house had everything we needed. The only criticism I would have is the backyard. The landscape was not like picture with grass in back instead it was full of decoration rocks. It was not kid friendly to play or pet friendly. Personally I don’t think adult friendly either. But everything else was wonderful. It was a truly peaceful stay.
The property is in a great location and has all of the things you would need for an entire family . The host ensured all of our requests were met and communicated with us very frequently . The kitchen is very well stocked with a lot of items . I highly recommend this property . Thanks again
We needed a place for my mom to stay nearby while her home was being renovated. This was the perfect house only 10 minutes away. It was both clean and cozy with a gas fireplace, which was a treat to have in the evening during the cold spell. The owner was easy to communicate with and made the check in process easy. I would recommend this house in Cedar Park.
This by far has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The home is well stocked and has everything you need it was also extremely clean. The location is great and easy access to everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet. The hosts were easy to contact by email. We will certainly use this home again.
While I could enumerate the good qualities of this location, none matter if you cannot sleep. Dogs barked at night 3 of our 7 day stay. I would never revisit this home.
2 weeks working in the area and this was a great base for our work schedules. The house was clean, included a number of essentials/supplies we didn't expect, and was generally just right for our stay. Had a minor issue with a room fan but Baylee had someone on it right away. Apart from that, it worked out great!
Had a lovely weekend. House is just as pictured. It was very comfortable, great location, very clean and had a lovely backyard . I would highly recommend staying here
Preparing to leave I pulled off the sheets and found that the two smaller bedrooms had severely Pee-stained mattresses with NO mattress covers. Particularly in the current environment, cleanliness is the MOST IMPORTANT THNIG.
I am shocked this "host" has been allowed to provide this level of uncleanliness. Had I found this when we checked in we would have left.
There were cockroaches in the kitchen and their nests can be seen in the skylight. There were 2 washcloths for 6 adults for a week, so I bought some and left them there.
The owner did not post information about checking in on the app, instead used messages. The app is capable of providing everything a renter needs, and keeps things much simpler.
Stayed at the house for five days. It’s spacious and clean. Quiet neighborhood. Bunch of restaurants nearby, as well as supermarket. 20 minutes to Austin downtown, 15 minutes to Lake Travis. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay.
When we arrived the house had a unusual smell. We spilt some water and used a paper towel to mop it up. The paper towel was immediately black. As we wiped in more places the paper towel just got blacker. We quickly realized that the floors were filthy and probably had not been mopped since the previous guest.
The kitchen chairs have stains all over them as do the rugs.
One bedroom the bed was broke in the middle.
The pictures show the house in wonderful condition inside and out and unfortunately it is not in good condition.
Underneath the kitchen sink and bathroom sinks really gross and filthy rags and sponges under them
There wasn't enough equipment to make meals in the kitchen. So we had to purchase things to make out meals.
We contacted the manager and the owners compensated us.
I WOULD NOT stay at this house again because it needs and DEEP CLEAN and repair to several things.
Beautiful home in lovely family-oriented community
The house was as pictured and great for a family. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, clean. Nice neighbors. Lots of great outdoor places/parks to visit - many with paved paths. My only difficulty was that my father is in a wheel chair and the doorways to the toilets were too narrow for his chair or his walker.
The house was the perfect size and a great layout. It needed a deep cleaning. I am guessing it is difficult to get the grime out of the tile grout, and there is so much tile. I guess you compromise on cleanliness to find a place that allows pets. We were there during the horrible storm of Feb 2021, but the fireplace kept us warm and the gas stove was a lifesaver.
Very nice home with great layout. Great backyard with awesome live oaks for shade. Nice neighborhood!
