Other things to note
LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS/MINIMUM STAYS:
At times we have the ability to accommodate last minute reservations. Feel free to message us to inquire if we have availability. Additionally, sometimes, but not always, we can accommodate shorter stays than our minimum shows. Feel free to ask us.

COVID:
We take every precaution we can to minimize risks of covid exposure. If you test positive to covid prior to your visit, we ask that you cancel your reservation. We will make accommodations for a refund if you show us proof of a positive test result. Our house cleaning staff and other non-guests entering the house are fully vaccinated. We prefer that our guests, if able to be, are also fully vaccinated and we hope everyone is taking covid precautions seriously. If anyone in your party has any symptoms at all and tests positive during or immediately following your stay, we ask that you notify us immediately.

Mid-Stay House Cleaning:
If you are booking a stay that is 7 days or longer, we do require a mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleanings will consist of changing bed linens, changing out towels and basic cleaning of the main spaces, bathrooms and kitchen. You can request the house cleaner focus on a certain area or not to touch certain items. The cost of this cleaning is is dependent on the cleanliness of the house and will be added on as an additional expense during or after your stay. The cost is $30 per hour and the cleaning will take anywhere between 2 and 4 hours. We request that guests vacate the premises during this cleaning to reduce covid-exposures. Our house cleaner will wear a mask during the cleaning.

Pets:
Well-behaved dogs only are allowed. If you bring a pet into the house, you must indicate it in your reservation and pay the extra pet fee. We will have to assess a fine of $500 if we find out there is a pet that we do not know about. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Please ensure they will not bark or destroy furniture in the house if you leave. Please clean any excess dog hair yourselves. Any damage will be assessed and charged to the rental guest.

Inclusivity:
As everywhere should be, we are 100% inclusive and welcoming of all guests of all shapes, sizes, colors, cultures, sexual orientations and gender identities, including people with varying disabilities. However, unfortunately and because of the age of the house, we do not have access for wheelchairs or people with very limited mobility who can't navigate stairs. You will also find that the Alberta Arts/NE Portland neighborhood, in general, is very welcoming.

Events:
Want to host a cooking or other classes, craft party, yoga retreat, board meeting, reading group, sewing circle, etc? We welcome small event gatherings (prices vary depending). This is the perfect space for meetings, small weddings, local experiences, etc. There are indoor and outdoor spaces for breakout groups or other individual needs. There are also spaces for tents outdoors. If you have a need for a rental for a weekend or midweek event, just send us message to inquire about availability and pricing or email us at: robin @ albertapetitehotel. com.

Hi! Our names are Robin Hawley Crumrine and Brian Crumrine. We (though we are majority woman-owned and operated; Brian has his own full-time job) opened The Alberta Petite Hotel in November 2018 in the hopes of benefitting our community by providing visitors with an authentic Portland experience. We are environmentally- and socially-conscious people, as well as avid travelers. Our vision was to create a space that includes everything we ourselves hope to find when traveling. For our neighbors, we want to provide a great location for family and friends to stay while visiting. And for our guests, we want to provide a unique home-base for their adventures in Portland. Becoming members of the small-business community here on Alberta Street has given us amazing opportunities to further our connection to our neighborhood and our city.

We look forward to welcoming you to Portland!

Why they chose this property

The Alberta Arts District is one of Portland's best neighborhoods. Tons of incredible restaurants and bars line the street, with cute shops and art galleries along the way. Plus, just off Alberta Street you have a welcoming and eclectic residential neighborhood. We live just 5 minutes away and love being a part of this great neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

The location is amazing! The house is right on Alberta St - walk out the front door and turn right or left...tons of restaurants, bars and shops in both directions.

Located in a newly renovated, 100-year old Craftsman home, The Alberta Petite Hotel has a historic feel without all the dust and outdated furnishings. With stellar amenities such as endless hot water, bedside power, seamless wifi, cozy furnishings and individual efficient heating/AC units in every room, you will find yourself feeling right at home.
