The location and space were perfect for our little midwinter adventure. Lots of room and comfortable. There had been a little ice-dam leak problem as happens around here, but the hosts had it handled and let us know in advance. They were also friendly and accommodating to us around timing due to weather. I highly recommend.

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
House over priced
This house needs a good cleaning and up grading. It’s dirty, has poor lighting and the check in if 4 and out by 10 is a bit ridiculous. It’s like hurry, hurry. You want the towels in dryer by 10. Think about that if you have a group that has to eat breakfast, take showers and leave before 10.
We would not recommend this house to anyone. The hand towel did not smell good, the pans are too old for safety,.

Less Than Expected
While this listing served our needs for an overnight stay for 6 adults (there is plenty of space), there were numerous aspects that were below what we hoped for. Inside, the house could use numerous upgrades. Beds were comfortable but extras like towels felt second hand. It's the little things like dressers missing handles that impacted our sense of this being an 'escape.' Kitchen had most of the essentials but, again, felt like this was what was left over in order to furnish the place. Outside space with jacuzzi was nice. We also found that the 'welcome' paperwork had a lot of initial 'do not's' and threats of extra charges - which did not feel very welcoming as a first introduction to the place. Host was very communicative and responsive, however.
Decent size house. Plenty of room for our large group. Great location. Great yard. Advertised as a 5 bedroom. But It’s actually 4 bedrooms. At the top of the stairs there’s a king size bed in the open with no privacy. That’s what is considered the 5th bedroom. We made it work but it caught us off guard. If you plan on grilling bring your own grill. The one at the house is rusted out and doesn’t work. Serious bummer for us. Most of the beds did not have top sheets. Just a bottom sheet and a blanket. Kind of strange. Would have been nice to have a top sheet. All in All it went well and worked for us.
Our stay was great; the location of the house was perfect for our days at Loon skiing and snowboarding. The space was great, and we had fun battling it out at air hockey and foosball.
The listing was exactly as advertised, and the owners were responsive when we reached out.
The house was an amazing size and location could not be beat. Didn't care for all the extra fees ( linen fees?!?! and we had to wash our own towels and place in dryer or get charged additional fee!?!?) Were to be charged $250 if hot tub water needed to be changed...it was cloudy! I felt like I had to be in touch with owner about all these things so I wouldn't be charged) Most of the beds were super comfy ( which is a huge deal breaker for me if they are not) I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because walking on the floors barefoot, our feet ended up quite dirty and there was left over food from the last guest ( albeit up high on cupboard where it WAS hard to see) All around I would def stay there again and recommend
This is a great spot in Lincoln. Quick walk or drive to everything you could need. The house is a great size. We had 10 total people, including a 3 year old, and it did not feel cramped at all. The hot tub was a great amenity, as well. It was a weird weather week and I did have to shovel a path to, and around, the hot tub, which was unexpected but not difficult. The only reason that I didn't rate an overall 5 is that the basement games advertised in the ad, specifically the air hockey table, was not operational. I feel like it was more likely due to careless previous guests than it was the owner's fault, but I want to be honest in my rating. Overall, a great spot and I would consider staying here again.
The location was great for walking to shopping and restaurants/ brewery. The house was clean and big enough for the 8 of us. Would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay at this home in Lincoln, NH. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Location was great for our hikes and exploring in the White Mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting together as a family around the campfire.
We had a blast! In exploring the house we found a game room in the cellar which was another hour of fun. Hot tub was very relaxing. So close to town and a store on the corner was very convenient. Does need a little love on the landscaping and weird that there was food in the cabinets but I say 5 stars!
We rented this property this past winter in conjunction with another family. It had plenty of space for both families to stay comfortably. Patrick and Nicole were very responsive and helpful during our stay. The hot tub is also a really nice ammenity.
5 minutes to Loon makes staying here a great experience. The hot tub was very nice after skiing. Home had everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood. Good communication with property manager. Thank you
We had a great stay at this property. House was perfect for our family, the set up worked perfectly for us as the teenagers loved having the second floor to themselves. House is clean, well stocked and in a great location! Owner responded quickly leading up to our stay, and didn't have to reach out at all during, as everything was as it was listed. Overall definitely recommend, and would stay again!
This place is perfect and I hope it's available in the winter for ski/snowboarding trips to Loon! Plenty of room for even 10 people. Super clean. Right in the middle of Lincoln. Would love to stay here again!
The second floor king bed is out in the open at the top of the stairs and you have to walk through the area to get to the other 2 bedrooms on that level. We were a large party and only stayed one night so it was fine. I don't know what is "newly remodeled" as it was quite rustic, but clean and comfortable. Great location downtown and surprisingly quiet.
The two wine glasses you see on the kitchen table in the photo were the only ones in the house. We had to drink our wine in juice glasses, so it would be nice if the kitchen was better stocked. Overall it was fine and we had a lot of fun!
Overall a fantastic value. The property, as advertised, had everything we needed and was large with plenty of sleeping space. Neighborhood was very quiet and conveniently located to both Lincoln and Woodstock for dining (even some within walking distance).
The hot tub worked great and we enjoyed it every night after skiing and it was always up to temp when we got in even on the really cold nights.
Definitely would go back if we end up back up that way!
We (8 adults) had a wonderful weekend at the house. We loved the location and were able to walk to restaurants and shops, which was a great perk! We were surprised to find out that one of the "bedrooms" was wide open and did not have any privacy from the other rooms. It is actually a 4 bedroom house, with a giant great room upstairs with a bed in it. We would have been able to fit 4 cars in the driveway, if need be. The downstairs showerhead was very forceful, so most of us showered upstairs in the small standing shower. There was plenty of hot water though, which was a plus! Overall, we had a wonderful weekend, despite not so wonderful weather! Thanks for having us!
Overall we enjoyed our stay, it is 5 minutes from Loon which is why we were there, and I would stay again. I docked one star because there's always room for improvement. The walls are paper thin, the downstairs shower was hard to control, and the hot tub had a hard time maintaining 100 degrees in the cold. Also the jets in the hot tub were sporadic. Some didn't work and others were painfully forceful. There isn't a ton of privacy in the backyard, no fences between the house and the surrounding ones, so be wary of that as well. The hot tub was still very enjoyable despite these things. The driveway is extremely slick if it ices over, so be careful, there was salt made available. Some of the checkout procedures cross the line of what a guest should be expected to do (they expect you to wash a load of towels before you leave?). Lastly, there was no "welcome package" despite it being pictured in the listing. It's a small thing really but if you advertise that as part of the rental you should deliver on it These things could be improved but overall this rental was clean and enjoyable and I would stay again.
