We had a wonderful stay at this cabin, the location was beautiful. We fished the ponds, did the Alpine Loop, had some good food and did some shopping in Lake City. We saw a lot of wildlife in the area, including moose at a near-by pond. Everything was wonderful!
The cabin was clean, towels & bedding nice and acceptable. The mattresses were of such a low quality that all four adults (two married couples, early 40’s & older parents) all of whom exercise and are healthy, experienced very poor sleep during our entire stay and experienced hip pain and another back pain. We love Vicker’s Ranch; however we feel strongly it is inappropriate to have welcome signs up, charge fees full well knowing the beds are completely worn out & guests are exhausted from attempting to sleep in them.
To own a cabin and suggest this is hospitality is a grave misunderstanding of the concept.
